Score from 31 reviews Excellent
Nice and comfortable stay. Room was spacious and clean, with air con and internet all working fine.
Little bit pricier than other options, but still worth the value. Breakfast a little bit basic (bread, coffee and juice), could go with some fruits, eggs or something to make it a touch more appealing.
We liked the air con and the kindness of staff
We didn't like the downtown position, nothing really to enjoy downtown
Accessible to the facilities in central area: markets, super markets, bus terminal and park. Staffs were so friendly and nice. Sick, simple and clean room.
Hot water ended in 5 mins, after 5 mins, had only cold water shower. In my room, my iPod could not get WiFi access therefore I had to go outside to get it.
The hostel is nice. It is located downtown, close to shopping area. To get to the beach it takes around 20 min by buss (9 pesos one way). The breakfast was not very versatile, I had a croissant with butter and jus or caffe. But it was tasty and for the price i payed this is very good:)
We got transferred to another place after 30 hours of traveling without any notice
It is pretty damp and humid. There is no social area. Is will be good if they have locker in the room.
Really good price for the good position (close to the Bus station), but you have what you pay for. They give you sheets. There is garrafon (drinkable water to fill the bottles).
Breakfast was basic. Toilet were really dirty. The night was so noisy... And the noise came from the hostel backyard itself!
The staff were absolutely lovely.
good for just a night after a long flight, nice staff
breakfast very basic, not very comfy common rooms
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The grey walls (Fungus)
Close to everything and very nice staff!
The quiet location and the cosy ambiance of the hostel
Marcella and Fernando were excellent hosts. Luggage storage. Free internet. In the heart of downtown Cancun and Parque Palapas, which felt safe for me as a solo female. Easy to find bus to the beach.
The younger night staff was extremely unwelcoming and was obviously not happy being bothered by guests. Very poor customer service. Rooms were a bit old. Clean but a bit of a musty smell that went away once A/C turned on.
Very nice and tidy room with a clean bathroom. Friendly staff waiting for you if you inform your time of arrival. Breakfast was also ok.
You have to know when you'll arrive and also ask for the staff to let you out of the gate. Of course this adds safety.
Staff very kind
There was a smell in the room, some wires uncovered (we had to watch our 1-year old all the time)
small, quiet and secure near many restaurants and parks. Private room had fridge
loud Quetzal Hostal next door breakfast was just toast, juice and coffee (coffee mate no milk)
Cheap hotel, great for people who stay just for a few nights. Check in 24 hours.
Really difficult to find. Even with navigation in the car. You have to wash the dish by yourself. The room where you have lunch was not so clean.
The price was good. The room was clean with daily maid service. A basic room with bed, night table, bathroom and simple breakfast.
Rooms facing the street were noisy at night from partiers.
everything is good except location
location is really difficult to find
Near bus station
The location in the city. Near a nice parc (Las Palapas) and a big mercado. The guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful. 24h reception is good! Fans in the bedroom were very appreciated.
There is not enough bathrooms for the capacity of the hostel, so they are very busy and dirty. Bunk beds not very safe. Breakfast a little too simple (after 1 hour we were already hungry)
It's very nice and quiet
But the one near buy always very noisy till late in the night. I lost one pair shoes there. But it's my own fault i forget to pack it up because they were under the bed. So when i came back another day i can not find it anymore.
Nice place, no hanging out after dark with fellow travellers, which was a nice break
Lucky we had a fair and patient taxi driver when we first got to Cancun as Hostel Haina was a little hard to find.
