The town is beautiful, the breakfast is light but fresh, the two ladies who helped us while we were there were wonderful.
The first room we were in was damp so we asked to move, the second room was extremely basic, but clean
Very difficult to find the hostel There is NO 24h reception as it is written on Booking The toilet is so tiny and dirty
The free breakfast is passable. The view from the patio is great
The beds are hard. The blankets are too thin for the climate. there are no pillowcases (so gross). The instantaneous hot water heater was frequently not working (possibly turned off when the staff weren't using it) so the showers were nearly always cold. The "common area" down stair is a few stone benches and some stools around a door, not exactly inviting people to hang out and socialize. No furniture on the patio upstairs leaves what could be a great space pretty much unused. Prices vary based on where you book, even after your initial booking ends (this site in particular gets you a bad rate). The location is such that they would never get anyone finding the place without the very websites they penalize you for finding them through. For reference, I've lived out of hostel dorms for over 18 months straight now. I'm not a princess, this place is just bad
I liked the price, and great view of the city
Stayed at the hostel with a friend there was two beds but one of them wasn't properly made didn't have sheets, in one occasion there was no hot water it took a while for us to get hot water, maintenance crew didn't take out the trash from the bathroom
ants, bug, smell seoul, KIM
The place don´t have any sign outside it was difficult to find. If you ask to keep your bagpack they leave it at the kitchen without key. The showers not always have hot water.
The staff treat you like you are gonna steal something, I did not feel comfortable to use the kitchen.
The room we had was big, two double beds. Breakfast was included and oké, not great. 5 minutes walk to the plaza!! The lady at the reception didn't spoke very great English, but she made an afford. She was very nice.
Wifi only worked at the reception. No staff in the evening/night. Twice we had a group of people who made much noise.
Good location and very safe neighbourhood
Leaky roofs, garbage piles having to share a small bathroom under a stairway, ehen I requested a bathroom in my room.i had turn down others for the same reason.very noisy guests.
•Nice view from patio •charming staff •easy to go central area
•it's little hard to arrive at first time( go to the post office. And go up to the street left side of post office, turn left twice. Then you can see the garbage gathering, it's turn left and up to the step. Entrance appear left side!! ) Have a good day in Guanajuato!
Hospitality. Beautiful room
There is a garbage on the street next to the pathway that goes to the hotel
clean room, nice staff, good wifi
not easy to find
We love this hotel, it make you feel like you are home
It's really hard to find if you don't have a good map (google maps doesn't work)
Huge bedroom Breakfast was decent although not very elaborate
Under rénovation Hard to find Sign for hostel is actually on the side of a dumpster with graffiti on it.. Kindda resembles the place
Great location in a safe area only 5 mins walk from the Zocalo. Raul is very helpful and friendly, and even came to get us when we called because we got lost trying to find the place! We had a little apartment across the road from the main hostel and it was great value for money and very comfortable.
There was a little kitchenette in the apartment but no crockery or utensils. It would be good to have a few more things, at least cups for coffee etc. But in saying that we didn't even expect to have a kitchen for the very reasonable price we paid so we weren't really that bothered!
The location, the view of the city from the balcony, the staff.
The showers, it took forever to get hot water for just few minutes.
-Fantastic views over city -Slightly further out than some other hostels but still an easy 10 min walk and due to this excellent views over the city (so not really a negative) -friendly staff -breakfast was very good compared to a lot of other free hostel breakfast I had over the course of my Mexican trip
Location, staff, breakfast, wifi, price, room.
Liked it all.
The service is very good, very nice people, an excellent kind-of-tourist-guy we had an excellent time. The location is one of the best, very near all interest places: Basilica, Market, Alondiga Museum, etc. It has got an excellent view of the city, one of the best. We highly recommend the place specially if you are traveling with friends or by yourself. Breakfast and food is really good, and very clean also. Highly Recomended! :)
The breakfast start a little bit late for us and I shall recomend they give it until 12:00 pm.
Site and utilities
Really good for the price, the staff is nice and is really helpfull, few minutes from the center.
The breakfast is small, almost nothing so if you dont go in a really cheap plan is better to go out, the bathroom was old ao there was water in the floor sometimes.
Staff fantastic. Really helpful and made us feel at home for our entire stay..highly recommend it. Great central location and safe but hard to find side street.
location, value, great patio
Great location. Great price! Great view of the city. Great wifi.
