Decent for a hostel Pictures are deceiving, no where near as nice. Fairly dark, and very warm.

Located on n a quiet street, for Mexico City. Bilingual staff knew everything about sights and how to get there. The bed was extremely hard, that was the only fault.

We've stayed there only for a short time, just to wait to another flight, the location is great so we've just walked around the zocalo square.

We had a nice stay. Good location close to main tourist areas. Daily dinner / snacks were a nice touch (not fancy but more than enough). Rooms were spacious and comfortable. No complaints

Victor (staff member) really made you feel like an amigo! Great location. We booked through bookings.com and it said if you stay 3 or more nights you get a free airport transfer. We requested this through email. We waited 1hr and no one picked us up, we arrived at 10pm. We got ripped off by the taxi to the hostel !! when we asked the lady at reception she said its only from certain times. They should clearly state this on the site, or at least emailed us back before. They could offer a free shuttle back to the airport but its only one-way.

We had a suite with a front balcony and with a kitchen. There was plenty of room, and lots of light. The bed was comfortable, and there was an excellent shower and lots of hot water. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast and dinner were included, but the food was basic. There were three good computers available for internet use, free of charge. The location, five minute walk from the Zocalo, was perfect. In the kitchen ...the windows did not close; the hot water tap was broken, and the gas supply was difficult to work. There was no bedside lighting and nowhere to hang clothes.

Location, Staff speaks english, price, rooms are good for what you pay, shower pressure higher than I have at home and hot water The free breakfast and dinner leave much to be desired. 90% of the time there is no protein in the meal unless beans or cheese which isnt always. Morning is basically cereal and yogurt and bread. Dinner depends. I usually just eat the morning then try to make it to lunch to eat street food.

Location was good. Booked a room with a kitchenette but the hotel mistakenly gave me a basic room. I was charged for the kitchenette room but got a the cheaper basic room.

I came to Mexico for the fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe and I found Amigo suites downtown on booking.com when I was searching for a cheap hotel. It turned out to be a great choice ... great friendly staff , clean . The location was good and the free meals (breakfast & dinner) were not bad at all. I was there when the staff had their xmas party so they gave out some free drinks at bar .. . I might be back next year .

Location was good Staff were absolutley lovely people..!! Pretty social place where one can meet many travellers good facilities like included basic meals internet easily arranged tours There seems to be noise all day and all night in tthe hall ways. There needs some noise reduction measures. Staff or other staff from other places close by can be hears chatting loudly at all hours. There are lots of weird noises in the night It didnt worry me cos i was so tired each night and had good earplugs MAKE SURE TO TAKE EAR PLUGS OTHERWISE

Great location with very helpful and friendly staff who seemed to go out of their way to make you feel at home. A tip of the hat to Victor who was front and center everywhere around the hotel to help you out. There was both a breakfast in the morning and a dinner at night which was terrific to meet other hotel guests who all got along and it made for great conversations over a few beers. The area where the hotel was located was two blocks to the Zocolo and big catherdral in the Centro district which along with the staff to provide maps and Metro tips made for easy personal tours.
