The staff members were helpful and nice.
The hot water took too long to reach the room and being from a desert town, I didn't like wasting it but, it was nice and hot when it got there.
Perfect Location. Charming atmosphere, decor and furniture. Very friendly, helpful staff
Terrible shower (weak, luke-warm dribble after 5 minutes); wi- fi very weak in my room, and non-existent from the bed
The rooms were noisy and humid, it was not possible to open windows to let out the humidity smell. They camouflaged the terrible smell with a scent that was worst that the humidity smell. It is located in the central square and it's a very noisy city. We ended up not staying there and we didn't get our money bak, not even the second night.
1 helpful staff. Neat old building. Right next to most popular (and noisiest) place in town. Public sitting area with a balcony overlooking the street. Great location for a hotel that cared to provide a means of keeping the noise out.
No sound insulation - big gaps around door. I could here every guest in the hotel and every noise in the street. No air circulation unless you opened a window. I kept it closed, but there was still too much noise. Not helpful when I requested to change rooms because of the noise. No wifi in room. Other guests said the same. Uncomfortable bed.
Well placed in Guanajuato
Very noisy area A little rugged hotel for the price
The building was awsome.
Bed was a little uncomfortable.
Less than a block from the main plaza. A historic colonial-style hotel which has charm.
Surly receptionist at check-in, reluctant to give me the booking.com price. Room very dark, and high step to bathroom. Needs updating, wood was partially gone from bathroom door jamb. Used a very unfavorable exchange rate in converting from dollars. Left for another hotel nearby after three nights.
The location is great, close to the Teather and the main square. If you have a car, just make sure to book place in advance. Parking around is impossible (peatonal street) so its hard to get there and park by car.
Rooms not that comfortable and clean. 5 stairs and no elevator (try to get a room in the first floor) Some of them do not have a window and Breakfast is not included. For one night it's ok but is expensive comparing with other cities in Mexico and its not a nice hotel at all.
Location is terrific. Room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.
A lot of stairs and parking a bit of a hike, and not cheap if you dont get one of the five assigned spaces. But in this town parking is a problem for all hotels in center of town.
Location, just a few steps from the main square.
We felt we had to waste water waiting for hot water in the shower, but it was hot eventually.
location was superb
Room was freezing cold.
The location, right in the city center.
The room had no windows and the door to the bathroom made a lot of noise when opening it. Also, you can hear a lot of noise from the neighboring rooms. Despite the excellent location, the price seemed very expensive in relation to the room quality.
Location is great. The building is also kind of fascinating. We always got quickly what we asked for.
In this place you have you have to pay for your stay before you even get the key to the room. At the same time they have a problem with cards issued outside Mexico(?) - the sollution was to pay in the bar across the street. It didn't feel very reassuring. Upon arrival my family was supertired after a long journey and wanted to go to the rooms, as the payment process really took its time. But they had to wait (and wait..) until the rooms were paid for. Our room had no heating and as Guanajuato was exceptionally cold, the nights were freezing. We got extra blankets after asking for it. We also had to ask for towels two days in a row.
