The room was bright and the bed comfortable, a big mirror covering the wall making the room seem even more spacious. The staff was helpful, but mostly the second day when a man introduced us to the festivities in town and showed us where to go on a map. Clean rooms and bathroom.
The first day the staff was silent and even though we visited the town during the biggest festival of the year, they didn't ask us if we were going to see the festival or help us getting around.
The room, at the house (not the rooms at Hotelitto) was very bright with a window to the patio. Nice bed and bathroom.
Pretty much everything, there's nothing to not like. It was fenomenal!!!
The attention was amassing mr Ramon was really kind and understandable now I know where to stay on my next trip
Very comfortable bed. The owners were very welcoming, helpful and considerate. The space in our room was excellent, nicely decorated.
Located out of the way. Noisy street at night and in parking buildings nearby. No English TV channels Cleaning staff forgetful (but problem corrected by owners). No staff onsite overnight.
The room was very nicely decorated. It was simply but with really nice taste. The whole "house" was beautiful. It was a pity we were there for only a couple of nights. Very safe and quiet and the staff was helpful although not on site. Would go there again!
If you care about TV go somewhere else. The TV was very old and the cable signal was very poor (black and white and grainy most channels). We ended up using the tablet all the time. San Miguel is so beautiful you don't need the TV but if they will offer the service it will be key to change the TV's.
window coming out to the corridor
Amazing host and amazing place. Best value for money on my whole trip in Mexico.
The owners and staff are friendly and helpful . Casita del Vergel is a remanzo: Tranquility also is in a picturesque area full of beautiful routes of pleasant surprises, just thanks to all for hosting.Thank You
It was not too far off of the fun zone...but it did have hot water, it was clean. I can't remember about the wifi, because the reception/service on a whole has been pretty terrible thruout the whole mainland of Mexico.
That it did not have outside ventilation, but it did have a ceiling fan.
We were not able to stay for the full booking and the owner was very gracious and accomodating. We did not leave him enough money for the taxes and are still trying yo pay him
Although the hostel is 5 blocks from the center of town it was all up hill and very hard on our 70 year old back & knees.
It was of value
No internet in our room. Also the electric plug extensions that were used for connection to the television and bedside lights were sparking dangerously every time they were touched. Therefor the T.V. would not work.
I didn't end up staying at the Hotellito as I had wanted a room with a window. The owner, Ramon, had recently bought a house nearby and after showing me a well lit room with private bath, I opted to stay there instead. It was great for me as I was the only one in the house so I had the use of the kitchen, living room, patio downstairs (with fountain) and the roof top terrace. On the second level there are three bedrooms and a penthouse room on the roof top. My room was cleaned daily and the wifi connection worked well. I found Ramon and his staff very helpful and I was not charged any extra for moving to another property.
The house and the Hotellito are about a ten to twelve minute walk from el Jardin in the centre of San Miguel. Walking during the day is fine but a cab would be advised at night.
Cosy place, very friendly and helpful staff, very close to the center. Very good relation price/quality.
It was barely identified, little difficult to find. Mattress was a little bit hard on the back.
The owners of this hotel were wonderful! It is a new business for them. They tried very hard tobe helpful. They wanted to get the WiFi hooked up but Telmex couldn't get it done!
The staff needs more training! This will happened. The maid didn't understand about timely cleaning and didn't understand that the bathroom needed to be cleaned daily. This is just the bugs of a new business. She didn't understand to see what needed to be done and doing it!
staff, cleanliness, location
Comfortable beds. Nice rooms. The same quality that you would pay a lot more money for in any other place. Great value!
