Above all, the staff! One was more helpful than the other. It was like a competition of kindness. The room was also very nice and clean. Last but not least: the signs in the hotel ;)!

If you stay there you certainly need a mean of transportation either for the beach or for the town. And the bikes they give you (for free) is not the best choice with this heat.

Relaxed environment, very friendly and professional staff. Spotlessly clean, huge comfortable bed, great breakfast, safe and secure. The management really understand what customer service and hospitality is all about. The staff really go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect

    Everything is great

Itour is a small hotel with 6 rooms. My fiance and I stayed at Speedy Gonzales room while my dad and his wife stayed at Frida Kahlo. The rooms were fun and very clean. The hotel organizes tours, and there is a lot of people in the common areas during the morning. Even then our rooms were quiet, we were able to sleep. The staff is outstanding and do a great job helping you in your stay. The hotel provides free bicycles (great to get to the beach, 20 min ride), towels for the beach, breakfast ( try the chocolate croissants), and internet. We had a rental car, and at the our arrival, I was not comfortable with the outside parking lot. However, they have a person on watch over night. There are several stores where you can buy food, water, etc. for a regular price. There are also a few restaurants if you do not want to go to the main street in the town.

The walking distance to the main street in town is not pleasant, but this is a small trade off compared to the benefits (plus you can ride the bicycle and be there in 3 min).

Great accomodation, value and friendly helpful staff. Handy location for transport and access to Tulum ruins, beach and eateries etc. Beautiful fruit breakfast appeared very promptly after asking. Free use of bikes to get to beach & ruins.

A bit noisy at times with location of busy cross roads but not a real problem.

Beautifully decorated, very clean. Great value for money. Excellent location, we rode the free bikes to the town, beach and ruins. Staff were fantastic and arranged a very late checkout at no extra charge. Free breakfast was delicious.

The location was the best. A supermarket in front of the hotel. 5min driving to the beach, 5min driving to Tulum ruins. And very delicious restaurants on walking distance. It was just perfect

All the beds has a stone basement and it does not allow modifications for more confort.

Great little hotel. Good value for money. We made use of the free bikes to visit the ruins and beach. Very clean room with lovely decorations, central to tulum town and dive shops.

No sharp knife in the kitchen is all I could complain about.

Staff were so helpful, they had an answer to every question. Good room with great air on and surrounded by supermarkets and convince stores. Close to town as well

Bikes they let you use are very old, but included in hotel price so can't complain! Bit far from the beach would definitely not walk

    1. Staff was very helpful and friendly, 2. Convenient location, 3. Clean rooms, 4. Good air conditioning, 5. Good wifi, 6. Convenient parking, 7. Free bikes, 8. Price

It can be loud in the mornings. Tour groups stop here around 9-10am, so there are lots of people and may be difficult if you are trying to sleep in. The pluses far outweigh the minuses.

-Convenient location next to 2 restaurants, 7-11, local cheap grocery store -convenient facilities on-site: Ice machine, espresso/croissant bar (free to guests for breakfast), snack bar, money exchange, small snorkel shop, outdoor sinks & restrooms by office, free bike rental -Close to attractions beach is close via bike - 5km ( 70 peso taxi each way), ruins are 2km, town "strip".is about 3- 5km, nearest cenote is 3km away -clean rooms, good maid service - programmable A/C worked well - friendly staff and guests -theme room decoration -comfortable seating in lobby palapas for relaxing, chatting - friendly, social vibe inviting to anyone (while I was there, most guests seemed to be singles, friends, and one or two couples, around 30 - 50 yrs)

    - Only one electrical outlet (I only used it to charge my phone, but this may be a problem for others/multiple guests in same room) - beds were a bit firm, as is the norm in Mexico - if you are seeking a quiet place, this may not be for you. Although I never heard so much as a peep from any of the 8 or so rooms, the atmosphere there is very social, with at least a few people in the open-air "lobby" chatting at any hour. Itour is also a gathering point for tour excursions (the relevance of the name dawned on me after the first two tour groups gathered there around 7:15 and 7:30am. Lol), so you will hear groups talking below each morning -however, the opposite does not apply, either. This is not a party atmosphere. In fact, none of guests in Tulum "party". There are a few bars with music/live music, but it's really mellow. There might be as many as...12...people in a (I wouldn't use the term "club") People who stay in Tulum are more concentrated on appreciating the amazing ruins, cenotes, and beaches *unsolicited Coba advice: Coba is 30 min away. The first bus from Tulum does not depart until 9am. The ruins open at 8:30, although they often let early birds in before then. And there is only ONE bus back to Tulum at 3pm. You do not need more than 2 hours there. Trust me. I was up the pyramid in 5...10 min, tops. You do NOT need to waste your money booking a tour. Entrance is about 65 pesos - less than $6. You can book a guide there. For the same price as one of those tours, you can arrange a deal ahead of time with a taxi from Tulum, and you can be the first one there and then leave when you're ready. The driver will also throw in an hour to visit a few local cenotes. Waaaay better than a large group tour. I snapped my photos without another soul present.

If you want to make a stop at Tulum, stay there! Amazing and really helpful staff, Marco (the boss) took the time to brief us about the activities around (beach, cenote, good venues for dinner/bars). Bedrooms look like proper apartments, they are really clean and convenient. Very good location to enjoy the bikes they will kindly loan you. Everything was perfect. And the Italian restaurant next to the hotel is excellent. Do not hesitate, stay there !

Close to bus terminal, so good location if you tend to use bus a lot, including going to the airport. Very nice green garden, can just relax in the hotel in a rainy day.

Close to several restaurants, supermarket, ATM, ~15 min bike ride to nice beach. Colectivo/local bus stop across the street. Nice breakfast options, good internet connection, bike rental included, flexible with last minute tour purchases, friendly staff. Good price, clean spacious room.

Some noise from nearby intersection, but pretty quiet at night.
