Jolie Jungle  

The owner was very kind and wanted us to enjoy our visit, but the experience overall was not represented well online. Be aware of expectations. Not worth the money.

We believe when Jolie first opened, the pictures did justice, but today, the condition of the property was worn and not in good condition. For instance, the pool was not usable--it was turning into swamp with frogs, tadpoles, low water levels, and green slime on the walls lining the pool. It looks as if either the filters were not on or not working altogether. It was hot in the jungle and no fresh water to swim in was a big setback. We felt the resturant was misrepresented. There was a menu and yet we could not order off of it--the owner/cook decided what lunch would be--pineapple or mango chicken and then charged us $12.00 per lunch. We were picked up by them for 40.00 in Puerto Morales and we felt trapped on this property. DO NOT go here without a car! We little to no options for food and with them making it clear that you are not able to bring food/nor have access to the kitchen made the experience even worse. Our bungelow was nice and was well protected from bugs, although the curtains were dirty, the sheets and space in general smelled moldy as if it had been used very little over the months. This is a great place for hearing birds if you are willing to only walk very little roads on the property. There are no trails "into" the jungle and major parts of the property have been sold off with signs stating "no trespassing--private property" or warning signs of "beware of dogs." We happened upon these signs and became quite nervous as we quickly walked back to the main clubhouse. The bikes are only for men or very tall women. Overall~this should be a hostel type place and should not charge more than $50.00 a night. We left after one night of stay and were charged over a $135.00 for a place to sleep, food and transportation. No break on our bill, although the condition of the place was in obvious deteriorating shape.

Nice environment for the bungalows. Good birding; wake up with bird songs. Good food. Very friendly managers and staff. Quite nights. Nice pool. Multilanguage.

Little bit difficult to arrange clothes and stuff in the bungalow.

We liked the style of the Jolie Jungle very much. I love that they are eco-friendly as much as it is possible. the owners are nice and friendly, they even made as breakfast very early (earlioer then the restaurant usually opens) so we did not had to go to the airport with empty stomach. the rooms are all uniqe. the atmosphere is awesome, the nature is so close.

El lugar es maravilloso, vale la pena estar ahí

Un angolo di paradiso, un luogo indimenticabile. Immersi nella natura che potevamo vedere dalle grandi vetrate del nostro bungalow venivamo svegliati dal canto degli uccelli. Relax in una piccola piscina perfettamente inserita nell'ambiente circostante. La sera nel buio il cielo stellato era emozionante. Ottima cucina. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo trascorso piacevolmente del tempo chiacchierando con Anais e Paul. Patrizia e Bruno, Italia

Dino y Paul nos atendieron esplendidamente. Dino cocina delicioso y no te puedes perder su especialidad, las deliciosas crepas. Hemos pasado 4 días maravillosos, muy romántico y relajado. La atención es espléndida y personalizada como en pocos lugares he podido disfrutar.

No tengo ningún comentario negativo.

le cadre est magnifique, l'accueil est extrêmement chaleureux, le petit-déjeuner excellent. Jolie Jungle est un endroit parfait pour séjourner en début ou en fin de séjour au Yucatan car à seulement 1 heure de l'aéroport vous profitez d'un cadre idyllique. Formidable pour les enfants, surtout avec la magnifique piscine avec un petit bain. tout est fait avec goût et gentillesse.

Un dépaysement total, beaucoup de charme, de l'élégance. Pour ceux qui connaisse l’Afrique imaginez vous dans un lodge. Le tarif restaurant d'un excellent rapport qualité prix et pour les amateurs de vin de bonne bouteille très accessible. Mais surtout un accueil d'une gentillesse qui ravira même les difficiles. Los dueños son muy amables y es un lugar bello. La comida es excelente. Fue un placer pasar una noche allí con nuestra familia.

Trato muy personalizado mejores anfitriones no podìmos tener, comida todo fresco excelente nada congeldo de meses como en las grandes cadenas hoteleras, el chef un artista de la cocina, las habitaciones originales viviendas mayas en medio de la selva se respira el olor a hierba, y en la noche podras admirar las estrellas en todo su esplendor pues no hay luces que contaminen, limpieza impecable hasta el shampoo que te proporcionan es de lo mejor y organico hecho por comunidades indigenas . Una de las cosas que mas me motiva a recomendarlo es que si cuidan el medio ambiente Un gran lujo a muy buen precio superò nuestras espectativas Ideal para personas que les gusta un hotel categoria especial de lujo pero ecologico

Trop peu de temps passé malheureusement dans l'établissement. Nous avions reservé notre dernière nuit sur la péninsule du Yucatán au jolie jungle. Si nous avions su, nous serions restés plus longtemps. Les lieux étaient conformes à l'idée que nous nous en faisions dans le sens tranquillité et écologie et en plus nous avons été reçu par une famille adorable, Bernard et Nedda et leurs 3 enfants, des gens que nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à rencontrer avec un grand cœur. Les lieux sont générateurs de serenité et la nuit dans la jungle c 'est idéal pour le repos. Lors de notre prochain séjour au Mexique, nous savons déjà où nous séjournerons.

Excelente trato y atención, la comida fresca y preparada con gusto, no hay contaminacion visual ni por ruido, privacidad en todo momento. La preocupacion por conservar el medio ambiente.

La filosofía del negocio es genial: respeto por la naturaleza, amor por la cultura local y confianza en el ser humano. ¡Excelente opción para pasar unos días en Puerto Morelos!
