Nothing... We liked it all. But I will say you have to like adventure and be flexible with your ceature comforts to stay here. It's rustic , but nice.
I had the best 3 days with my teenage daughter. Just us... No phones or computers....since there is no wifi!. We had great conversation and read books. The owners Dino, Nessa and Anise were lovely and very hospitable.
Jolie Jungle is located about 25 minutes inland from Puerto Morelos and tucked away in the jungle. The atmosphere was beautiful and the hosts, a family of lovely people, were very kind, welcoming and gracious. We arrived a bit earlier than check-in but were quickly accomodated and made comfortable. An amazing homemade meal was prepared. It was the best food we had during our stay (among the various places we visited (Isla Mujeres, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cancun). The room was comfy. The shower was absolutely beautiful. My favorite place was the Clubhouse, where people gathered to have meals, play pool or hang out in the hammocks. It was a nice getaway from typical resorts and is the perfect place if you appreciate nature and serenity. Above all the things I love about Jolie Jungle however, are the owners. They are amazing, kind people and I felt blessed to have met them and gotten to know them. They gave us a great deal of information regarding the activities we were interested in, helped us secure a rental car and offered to take us into town if necessary. They are on the premises and asked us to contact them any time of the day or night if we needed anything. If you're looking for a hotel where you feel like you're being received by family, this is the place for you.
We Loved the Food of the french Chef! It was very delicious!
Amazing owners!!! We have got acqainted with the whole family and they are really great people! They did also temaskal for us, so nice! I recommend everyone come and stay there at least 2 or 3 nights to feel love, jungle and all paradise!
very friendly staff, private location. natural !
lack of info prior to arrival , it should either offer shuttle service or advise to hire a car as it is quite remote - which is of course it's appeal
the people, the place , the quietness
This is a dilapidated and sad place which is very over-priced for the quality. The hotel is seriously mid-represented on your site and was a major disappointment. I would agree that $ 5 0 per room per night would be a fairer price.
The towels in the bathroom and the friendly service
