Score from 31 reviews Very good
This hotel in downtown Playa Del Carmen is a few blocks from 5th Avenue. Homemade vases, paintings, and decorative furniture created by the manager’s wife decorate the hotel and its rooms.

The location was great, the staff very helpful, the room was cute, the decoration of the hotel. very close to the beach
room quite old. I had a room giving on the main street and it was very noisy all night with drunk ppl. wifi only in the lobby and swimming pool too cold
Great little hotel on the main drag. I faced the street and with the patio door closed didn't hear a thing. Large rooms, with nice decor. Staff were pleasant. I would stay here again.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, great location, good AC.
Slight Chemical smell in room from cleaning I think which thankfully disappeared once the necessary AC was on.
This hotel is located where most of the touristy buzz is, on the 5th Av. This seemed to be convenient and close to the beach. Worth getting out of these streets however to see the real town too. The room came with a kitchenette and huge bathroom, good aircon - all of which we really appreciated.
Due to the location it can be a bit noisy in the night but it did not really bother us much.
ear of the 5 avenue
was terrible, 3 floors and no elevators, not cliner, hard beds, WiFi very bad and Pool very small.
The beautiful garden, friendly staff, and hassle free environment, I also liked that there was no families with children or cranky people complaining. (If you want a peaceful quiet environment, I would suggest you go to a far off resort somewhere along the coast in-between Playa and Tulum). Downtown Playa is for party people.
The TV-sucked, no channels where clear, bad reception,I feel that should get fixed…But who goes to playa to watch TV anyway...
No elevator(4 floor!) , no wifi in the rooms , old hotel , bad smell .
Location is good which is about the only good thing I can say for this hotel.
The room was old and tired and could do with an upgrade. The bed was rock hard and uncomfortable. We had a room facing onto the street and it was noisy until late into the night which made it difficult to sleep. The doors and windows were not much use for isolating the sound and the A/C was directly over the bed and sounded like a jet engine which further complicated our sleeping ambitions. We contacted booking.com and shortened our stay by 2 days so we could head off to the relative quiet and beauty of Tulum. If you like hustle and bustle then stay in Playa del Carmen, but I would not stay here if you like sleeping.
the pool was not clean, the beds where horrible for the money poor toilet situation cold showers run down building
The courtyard, artwork, decor, treehouse suite
Cooking utensils could be better. Also no dish washing supplies WiFi only available in /near lobby
The air of the place, the spacious room and our balcony towards the street. We had an apartment-style room and it came with a basic kitchenette with a little bar around it. (We had friends coming from Merida and could easily host a warming party before hitting the town :-)
The poor internet performance. WiFi only worked in certain areas and not in our room. The shower made strange noises and stuttered if the hot water was not on full blast, which was very hot.
Location of this hotel was excellent. Right in the centre of the best part of Playa Del Carmen. Within walking distance to most activities. Hotel was also very funky and nicely decorated.
Great location.. Pretty ordinary rooms though
Interior reminded me of a cheap 80s motel. No wifi in rooms
Location was fabulous. The art and garden of this hotel also made it special.
Paying $140 per night and not having hot water
The location and the restaurant and the atmosphere.
Noise from nearby bars
kitchenette in the room, spacious room
too much noise from bars and restaurants in front of the hotel
We liked the decor, your efforts to make it attractive and livable. Your courtyard is very lovely. Your staff was friendly and helpful. The cleaning was good. The room was quiet for sleeping.
There were six of us staying with you. Five of us found the beds very uncomfortable, they are hard and hurt our backs, hips, etc as it was impossible to get comfortable lying on them. The hot water was unreliable. There was a sewer odor from time to time. But except for the beds, we mostly enjoyed our stay at your hotel.
Kind staff but doesn't know English - what's caused us a non shower day we got back at 23pm the first day. Location at his best, right in the center of businesses. Close to the local Walmart. Clean room.
A bed without even one spring. Not lots of hot water, staff doesn't know English. Think that 75$ in December is not a good value for money. (Studio room)
It is a museum in a great location
It was a noisy location and lots of stairs
Excellent location in the fifth avenue. Mexican concept and decorarion is really pretty Staff really kind
The Bed was really bad we could hardly sleep In general de rooms need more improvent/mainteinance I would say. For the price i guess is fair but at least the beds, those should be more comfortable
Right on 5th. Close to everything. Funky decor, relaxed atmosphere. Clean. Great price.
Beds are ridiculously hard, had to go to Walmart and buy thick blankets to go under us. Bought toilet paper because they kept running out. Mariachi band right under our balcony nightly.
