The location is two streets back from the main strip. The receptionist offered to store our valuables in her office which she assured us was safe, since there was no room safe.
Guests chatting in the hotel's small quadrangle can be heard in every room. Especially late at night when revelers come back. The room doors don't lock adequately, it's very easy to open the 'locked' door.
staff were super friendly, great in-town location
breakfast was lame--just toast & instant coffee
Could have been a decent budget hotel.....but...the walls of the hotel rooms are extremely thin. This means you hear ever move of other guests. If then one of the other guests miss-behaves and creates so much disturbance that the whole hotel does not sleep for the WHOLE NIGHT.....you expect the hotel staff to act. They didn't....this means you don't have your act together. Would not stay here again.
The hotel is in very bad conditions. No maintenance at all. Do not book this hotel. Old furniture and old and dirty wc, shower... No windows, so you hear all noises from hotel (very noisy) and from neighbors (more noise!) Where there are windows they do not close well so a smell of burning came from a very poor neighborhood: day and night I had carbone dioxide in my room. The stove had a gas escape, it smelled gas also. The door did not close, so anyone could have come and rob at night. Mosquitoes all over, because mosquito nets too old. Smell of humidity. Do not book this hotel. Too far from the beach and you have to spend lots of money in taxis (90 pesos each time from pueblo to playa). Ruined my vacations.
Staff were really helpful and friendly. Good location and easy walk to the Main Street. Basic bedrooms but more than adequate considering you aren't in your room much. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice little cosy hotel which is kept clean.
You can hear everything anybody is saying as the walls are very thin so bring ear plugs and you'll be fine.
All is very very nice. The people that work there make a personal connection with you, cause they are few. All rooms overlook the same inside court, and yet you have privacy in your space. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and proper, bed is good, shower is good.
The breakfast could be better/more
The cleaning staff are pleasant.
Very bored and disinterested staff. The place is not sound proof, so the sound of pumping Reggaeton music will keep you awake until 1 or 2am. The nightguards drunken friends visits from 5am until 6.30am are impossible to sleep through - even when you come out of your room to see what´s happening.
We liked the room very much. It is light and has big beds and lots of room to store the luggage. The hotel has a nice tropical courtyard. Location is good, just 2 blocks off the main road, so nice and quiet, but still in the centre of Tulum.
Minor things. The bathroom has no window, so it gets damp in the room. Aircon was very noisy, therefore die not use it.
Nice quiet place and in a great location
Hot water showers weren't consistent
