Location very close to the main touristic areas Huge room (duplex) for 4 people Good breakfast

Wifi not available in the room (too fare from antenna) but available in lobby Parking away from hotel (10 minutes walk) but this is normal for hotels located in downtown! But the car is not necessary for the main touristic points

My husband and I visited Guanajuato for the first time to attend to a wedding. We had an amazing time and La Casona was a big part of that result. The staff was lovely, the breakasts were delicious (I had the chilaquiles every day!) and the location was perfect. No noise and great rooms. If we go back to Guanajuato we will not hesitate to book La Casona again.

Great location, friendly staff, great rooms

Loud in the morning with doors slamminig because guest are leaving. They should remind guests to close doors quietly as they depart in the am

Soft and comfortable beds! Great location. Delicious breastfed and frindly staff.

Serving coffee in styrofoam cups. No coffee maker in the room.

The inside of the hotel and rooms are very well designed to make you feel you are in Guanajuato.

WiFi connection is terrible. If you are on "buisness" trip, maybe this hotel is not the best choice.

On the Plaza de la Paz, the hotel is right in the midst of the Centro, but off-center enough to avoid the worst of the crowds and noise. Staff speaks minimal English but very willing and helpful. Our room, on the third floor, BACK, avoided the street noise, which you definitely want to do, but, open to the central courtyard, echoed every sound from there, including early breakfast. Room simple but very nicely designed, king bed comfy, given that Mexican beds come in hard, harder, hardest, maid service superb. Wall unit heats/cools. Great price on, about right for the property. Not worth rack rate.

Breakfast is adequate but not great. That said, several choices, and you won't be hungry. GUO is NOISY. Ask for 2nd or 3rd floor room, back, and away from the central courtyard.

    The location is excellent

The room was a garish orange that took some getting used to. The staff in the morning did not have coffee or breakfast ready at the advertised hour and were slow

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and tolerant of our fractured Spanish. Location was perfect, in the heart of downtown and within easy walking distance of everything. Highly recommended!
