Lovely small hotel, staff very friendly & helpful letting me use the computer/printer They serve breakfast or dinner on your balcony- great food & nice free breakfast lovely setting over looking Cancun there were nice views from the balcony/room 1 It was easy to get taxis into town or to other parts of the island so didn't bother me being out of town there was a safe in the room lots of wildlife nearby!
Secluded Location near el garrafon great for relax and snorkeling Great Views of Cancun and The sunset Super friendly Staff
Has very steep stairs not apt for older people or with legs problems
Juan, the chef, was excellent. He has significant culinary training and took great pride in preparing our meals. He actually brought out the fresh catch of the day (grouper) to show us what was on the menu He then treated us to his ceviche and a chaya smoothie on the house.
There were a lot of high steps down to the water with no railing.
Eduardo and his team made sure we had everything we needed at all times every day. It was a treat. I'll definitely be back. Best views in isla..
Beds were a little hard
Eduardo, the manager, was incredibly gracious and made sure our vacation was superb!!!
Everything was excellent!
This amazing little hotel was on the quiet southern end of the island. It had the most mazing views, great rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely be going back
Loved the location,it was quiet, great pool, beautiful view, very attentive employees. Close enough to town that if you rented a golfcart you could tour. Good restaurants close by if you wanted a change of menu.
Poor beach area for swimming
the staff, the location, the service, the breakfast, the private beach, everything was just perfect!! if i go back, i'd stay here all over again!
the only thing that can be made better are the showers - our room had a very slow trickling shower...
Great Mangement, helpful staff, quiet with few excellent rooms with wooden porch with panoramic ocean view, small private sandy and rocky beach and pool overviewing the sea. Great for couples off the noisy town center. Nature pure !!!
the staff is very good and the place is amaz, most butifall beach in isla
Great layout, comfortable room, clean and friendly staff. Hidden Jem for sure
Clearly not 4-star, restaurant doesn't work in the evening (difficult to get food in this area after 8pm), moldy room (the whole back wall), A/c was leaking water to the floor, rooms have sliding door with very poor lock
Clean, quiet and good value for money. The staff at this family run hotel we're really friendly and keen to please. Happy we also had a room with AC - July is pretty humid!
Lots of iguanas around the hotel but I guess that can't be helped. There isn't really a beach directly out front although we did find a place to swim
Fantastic tropical retreat. We loved the beautiful setting, the local wildlife and the relaxed atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly in a very laid back way, which was perfect for us. The chef is excellent but knocks off around 7.30pm, so make sure you order early (if you prefer to eat later, the Kan-Kin down the road has a good restaurant).
the crew are so kind and willing to help you at any time and the place was very safe :)
not internet inside the room i think they need stronger network signals
Best view we've woken up to in a long time! Breakfast on our private deck is wonderful. Very large and comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff, very informative. Lovely pool and deck facing the sea. All amenities in room worked well.
Sometimes the noise on the deck upstairs. The curtains on side of the room were a bit see through so we were sometimes worried people walking by may be able to see in. Didn't have water available and there aren't so many shops nearby to buy water - perhaps they can provide a large water dispenser in room at an extra cost?
Staff amazing great place for a relaxing get away and the food was amazing menu limited but shrimp and lobster were super. Some of the best we have ever eaten.
the view was great, the food good, staff was very nice, enjoyed the use of the kayaks, the grounds were beautiful
did not like sharing the deck with another room. a partition of some sort should be placed in between & it could easily be done. also the first few days were very noisy because of a family reunion. pool was cloudy and we never used it
The view from our room and the pool was fabulous. Just paradise. Eric and Paula were delightful hosts and the rest of the staff was excellent. We had an amazing time here for our honeymoon. We will return.
beautiful views of the Sea and snorkeling from the hotel. The patios are great to escape the heat or the rain and enjoy a meal. Eric and staff are excellent and aim to please
The hotel is very isolated and requires a taxi ride to town or just about any other location. No beach area from the hotel, just some steps right into the sea.
quiet, serene jungle setting nice breakfast delivered to terrance in morning. only stayed 1 night before our other property was available. would definitely stay again. hammocks on terraces great!
many stairs.not good for someone with knee problems
Really nice hotel and spot in the south part of Isla Mujeres. The south is more quite which I recommend in high season when the north part (town) is full of tourist, but you need some form of transportation to get there (approximately 30 min drive from town). However, we didn't miss to be closer to town and you can always have dinner in the hotel or nearby hotels. The beach in front of the hotel is small but swimming and snorkelling there is a pleasure. The view from the hotel is great with amazing sunsets!!! Staffs are very nice.
- It's a shame that there is not any policy against loud music in common areas (swimming pool) or balconies; endemic in this part of Mexico (at least during high season) and something you need to be aware off. - Very occasionally there were some boats with annoying loud music stopping near the hotel. - The hotel is a bit older than we expected
The view from the hotel: the passageways, rooms, balconies, swimming pool - all face to the marvelous sea. There is also a private beach next to the swimming pool - SPLENDID. We also liked the design of the hotel and rooms - very beautiful.
1) toilets get clogged when using toilet paper (sounds like an absurd, but for real, hotel owner even suggested to throw used paper to litter bin). To be honest - there were other places in Mexico that had this problem too, BUT - there were also many other places that did NOT, so know that you are paying good money for one of the places that does have this problem. 2) Water bottles policy. In all other hotels in Mexico we got a pair of small bottles of drinking water on a daily basis. Here we only got it on check-in and were told we had to pay 15 pesos for a small bottle (way overpriced). While not a major problem, it raises strong feelings of stinginess and pettiness from the side of the hotel. This place calls itself a hotel, not a guesthouse/hostel/posada, and charges more than 100USD per night on high-season. For this good money can the hotel really not afford itself to supply water on a daily basis? (again - like most other HOTELS in Mexico do). 3) Location - far away from town. On the upside - it's quiet, and the hotel's private beach feels like it all yours. on the downside - you need to rely on taxis and pay about ~80 pesos for each direction (from hotel to downtown and back)
the hotel is located at the far end of the island, it's very quiet and the view from the bedrooms is just amazing. It has its own small beach, and every room has it's own veranda with garden. Completely different from the overcrowded hotels in Cancun, this has only 10 bedroom, and you really enjoy the peace and quietness and the stunning environment.
Perhaps rooms should be equipped with tea-coffee facilities. Suffering from jet lag and waking up very early in the morning without being able to prepare a coffee is somehow annoying. But all the rest is simply fantastic.
