Outstanding Boutique Hotel. We absolutely loved this hotel. Cozy little boutique hotel smack in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The room was nice, bed was a 11 out of 10 ....To be honest, the pool-bar may have been our favorite in all of Playa . Also, there is parking.. If you are looking for something a little cooler than the standard chain hotel / all inlclusive, definitley check this place out...the price is outstanding as well (we paid about $145/night).

Loved it! Had so much fun here.Lovely cosy boutique hotel in the heart of Playa and a tiny two block stroll from the beach. Staff were very friendly and were always happy to answer our questions about things to do in the area. The gardens and pools are great. The rooms were clean and very well appointed .I would stay here again in a heartbeat

Comfortable place to stay My partner and I enjoyed our stay at La Pasión, Playa Del Carmen. The room was very clean and nice, all the amenities mentioned when booking were there. The wifi was very good. We loved the pools and garden! The best thing about La pasión was the reception staff. They were very friendly, always greeting us and asking how our day was and even helped us locate some places around town such as a courier service. I would recommend this place to friends and family coming to Playa Del Carmen.

Awesome location close to everything, great night sleep! The hotel is a cozy boutique hotel close to everything. Staff was pleasant the beach was lovely and the room was comfortable. The breakfast restaurant recommendation was great! Would gladly stay here again!!!

Single Travelers will love this Unique Hotel in the Heart of Playa del Carmen.This was my third stay in La Pasión and I've never been disappointed. The staff is very warm and welcoming. The rooms are cozy with comfortable beds. Like I said, this was my 3rd time staying in this hotel while traveling alone. The location is close enough to all the bars and nightclubs that you can go out at night and walk back to the hotel late without concern. The best restaurants, cafes, shopping and the beach are right outside the front door. The beach clubs are wonderful - Zenzi and my favorite is Indigo. You'll definitely enjoy your stay at La Pasión. Can't wait to go back next year!

good location: central, close to 5 avenue, discos and the beach. Also near the bus station.

Small rooms, for this price i used to get bigger apartments in Playa, shop around before booking.

Friendly and relaxing. We stayed at La Pasion for 4 nights. The pool room was nice. We are very satisfied with our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Great to have a nice breakfast. Super location. Quiet, yet in walking distance of everything. Beach, restaurants.Would definitely come back! the details makes unbelievable this hotel!(pools, jacuzzi.., and we had cookies, wine, water and coffee free!)(and finally...we received a present!!!! a beatiful one!)

Sweet, Colonial, Comfortable. La Pasion is a great little boutique hotel on a quiet part. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. They serve a nice breakfast every morning. It's a great way to start the day. The hotel provides you with beach passes to a couple of the beachfront beach clubs. A tip: Take the ADO bus from Cancun and get off at the first stop in Playa. The hotel is an easy walk from it. Enjoy!

Great boutique hotel in downtown Playa Del Carmen. This is a fantastic boutique hotel. The hotel is not on the beach and had two swimming pools,. We loved the location of the hotel - downtown area, really safe right next to tons of restaurants, bars, lounges and shopping area. 5th avenue is the happening place in Playa del Carmen, so the location was superb. The hotel itself and the room was cute, clean, beautifully decorated. Each morning we got delicious breakfast. The staff in the hotel was super helpful, especially on the front desk. The guy there went out and beyond to help us plan our trip to Coba and Merida, recommended money exchange places, bars to go to and local food. Also, he gave us passes to 2 beach clubs (walking distance 2 minutes), so we had no problem lounging at the beach. Great place with great service. Would go back.

Would Stay Again and Again!LA Pasión is a paradise all within its confines. I stayed in one of the pool rooms and it was one of the most exotic experiences I've ever had in a resort. The faculty was friendly and were always there for my needs. My bedroom was clean, neat, and I just loved the decor. The food made the trip and was high quality. It really completed the circle of perfection that most resorts don't live up to. I will stay here again! Staff...you are the best!!!!

“Perfect!!”This hotel was suggested to us by a cousin who had previously stayed there. It is perfect for a trip to Playa. The rooms are clean, bed are comfortable, staff is friendly and location is great!! All inclusive was not what my husband and I were looking for as there are to many great restaurants and beach spots to go to in Playa. We had a delicious breakfast every morning before we headed to the beach or on an excursion. The hotel is close to the beach and the hotel offers 3 options for beach clubs/hotels...we really enjoyed Zenzi and El Tapas. This hotel was perfect for our trip!!

Super friendly, peaceful and great breakfast! Me and my girlfriend stayed six days at this hotel for some down-time during a trip around the Yucatan. The hotel is out of the way from the busiest (and most touristy) part of the Quinta Avenida, with easy access to the beaches and some lovely restaurants and local places to eat closeby. All the staff were brilliant- friendly in a genuine way and always happy to help. The receptionist were fantastic as were, as were the maids. Beds comfy, shower powerful and the shower products were amazing (the fact that I am even writing down such a trivial point means they are really something). The breakfast was fantastic. And if the breakfast wasn't enough to put you in a good mood then the beaming smile of the cook certainly did the job. All in all a great stay and would thoroughly recommend!

Boutique style and quiet hotel.A lovely hotel staffed by friendly staff. The breakfasts is fabolous.. The pools are great! The rooms have good furniture and great bedding and towels are supplied. There are a number of good restaurants bars and coffee shops near by.I would visit again if I wanted a quiet room with a good check in service and staff. BRAVO!

The staff is accommodating and friendly. Rodrigo, Sergio, Francisco, Rafael, Wilberth and Pedro work at the front desk and they are AWESOME! There is also a helpful concierge. Rodrigo gave us a free upgrade to our room making our stay even more pleasant and memorable. The hotel is located near the beach. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and nice. Our rooms were cleaned every single day. I would definitely choose this hotel over the big resorts any day. They are Unique!!!! it is a fabolous experience this hotel.

Romantic atmosphere.I Took a trip out to Mexico last year and stayed at this cute hotel. The ambience is breath taking. This is the type of spot you go to with a loved one. I would return again. If you happen to go alone or with some friends this is still a great hotel to go to. The location is great, right off the cuff of 5th Ave. 5th Ave is a strip that houses restaurants, shops and whatever else you can think of. The staff was polite and helpful, they are my friends now!!!!And La pasion is my home.

The perfect place for a perfect wedding.My husband and I stayed at La Pasion with a group of 22 other people for our wedding. The planner we worked with was recommended through La Pasion and the location was a few blocks away. Working together it was the most amazing and unforgettable experience of my life. The hotel proved to be a perfect location for all our needs as it was close to everything you could want, but far enough away from the parties to be relaxing and peaceful. It is a beautiful hotel and everyone working there was helpful with all our many questions. You will not be disappointed with your stay at La Pasion and I hope one day to return.

We have traveled to Playa del Carmen 12 or 13 times over the past several years, always staying at a 5 star all- inclusive . I can state - unequivocally - that for us, we'll never venture back to another all-inclusive in Playa - our experience at La Pasion and the ability to explore the wonderful restaurants and beaches in Playa made for an absolutely perfect stay. The property is everything that has been written in other reviews - perfect location, beautiful accommodations, and absolutely wonderful service. Victor, the owner, has developed a gem of a hotel and has hired wonderful staff to make each guest's stay as good as it can be; Sergio, Pedro, Rodrigo, Rafa, wilberth and Francisco are a beatiful people. We have found our new home in Playa!!

Best new hotel in Playa de Carmen.I have gone to Playa almost every year for the past 10 years. The discovery of La Pasion is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. Its brand new(named BUNIK, be unique), very clean and comfortable. the location is 2 blocks from beach and right in town. The town of Playa is always fun. The hotel rooms are cute, cozy, comfortable. Gardens, pools and jacuzzi are great. Decoration is a elegant colonial style. Staff is very friendly and will help select resturants or the days activities; tahnks to Rodrigo, Pedro and Sergio! Will certainly return to La Pasion next year.
