Eco lodge, interesting design, nice breakfast with some variety
Extremely friendly staff. Great location with a nice private beach. Very good continental breakfast as well as excellent restaurants within walking distance.
Had to switch rooms because the garden room was too hot, no a/c.
the location is perfect the smile of the personel the ananas juice at the breakfast if you ask for extra bread, to finish your eggs/jam they will give you the water pot for your feet before entering in your room.. -perfect-
the price could be more reasonable
- everything but the water in the shower
- the water in the shower, tasted like filtered sea water and left you feeling not super clean
Private beach (for the most part), good restaurants nearby, beautiful area. Breakfast was decent, but a little light. Staff very nice and accommodating. Free fast wifi, but no place to charge anything (luckily I carry portable batteries for that reason).
Nice rooms, just a bit expensive for hat you get. No hot water.
The architecture of the hotel was beautiful, the local stunning. I would definitely recommend to others.
The fact that the water was off on the morning we left and the incessant pounding from the construction site right next door.
Nice and quiet place. Spacious bedroom, good breakfast, changing everyday. Access to a very small but nice beach
Room is very spartiat (bathroom/toilet open to the bedroom, no closets to tap the main windows), no air conditioning (ecological place). Our bedroom was not located in the main part so we had to cross the road to access entrance/breakfast place/beach
Private beach, friendly staff, close to food, helped us orgainse day trips, internet in rooms
No power outlets in rooms, non beachfront rooms get really hot
On the beach
no air conditioning
The room was very spacious and clean, the balcony with hammock and chairs was great!
We are backpackers and were looking for a nice treat after a long and exhausting trip. We booked this hotel, but had better service in a lot of the hostels we've stayed before. Also, the breakfast was included, but it was really little. Most people won't have enough. This is a sad, because the hotel is too pricy to have to go the bakery across the street after breakfast, because you are still hungry. Most people who go to Tulum don't know this, but in many many hostels you get the same/better service for only 1 tenth of the price.
We were in the moon -Luna - suite .- An amazing very spacious two storey bathroom and bedroom with a private sun balcony all overlooking the ocean. So much space, sun and sea. Very helpful staff, gorgeous simple breakfasts. we loved it - it was hard to leave.
Be aware that in the small print that not all the bill was paid for in advance. You pay the balance on arrival!
Location was right on the beach, and the room was really well crafted with beautiful earthy materials. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance, but the hotel was still very private and quiet.
Hot water did not work and no air conditioning, but you are on the beach, so I did not mind at all. For environmentally-friendly travelers, this was a great place.
The location is perfect. The private beach cove is beautiful--white, soft sand and limestone outcroppings that you can sunbathe on. The staff was, for the most part, very helpful.
Be aware of the parking situation--there is one spot that allows someone else to park behind you, blocking you in. The front desk should ask for the car key of those cars to facilitate the blocked car getting out, but they currently do not, leaving you without access to your car.
We loved the private cove of beach the property is on!
Staff was all fairly unfriendly.
Fabulous staff helped with several special needs. Craftsmanship of the hotel is extraordinary. In laid beams and glassworks panels build into the stucco walls. River stone in the floors. Beautiful glazing on bathroom walls and floors. Gorgeous
Beach could be a little bigger
Amazing views from ocean front room, great decor, and the staff was superb. Unlike other reviewers, I felt that the breakfast was nice, coffee, fresh juice, fruit, and yogurt. Beach was small but easily able to find a place to grab some sun.
The shower was always cold and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. For the price, felt that those aspects should have been better.
Charming little hotel. Great location
The only complain is that the Mattress was too hard. Please replace.
Lots of character, very helpful staff, beautiful beach and soooooo comfortable. Will definitely stay their again.
wonderful staff and good location for a short stay.
One of the couples had flight problems and could not make it to Mexico. Although PDS rented the room to someone else for all but the first night, the manager still required us to pay for the room at full price. therefore PDS received nearly double the rent for that room. I think that they should have given us a credit for the amount that they received from the secondary renters; that would have been the fair thing to do for all concerned.
Beautiful place, loved the rooftop terrace off our cabana
This place was near perfect. I'd come back.
Sheets could have been softer, but this is such a tiny detail.
A bit pricey, but a fantastic posada. A finely crafted hotel. The location and beach are awesome.
lovely large rooms. beautiful private beach spot. great location.
room was too hot, even with fan on hi (because mosquito net blocked the air). AC would have been good. only downfall is that there is no restaurant or bar on the premises, so you have to leave your lovely little beach spot to get anything to eat or drink.
We were upgraded due to renovation works and are in a fantastic ocean front room
Close to the ruins of Tulum, relatively "cheap" restaurants nearby compared to other streches of the beach; small shop just over the street for drinks, chips and ice cream
Only salt water in the shower, in a small bay and not on the long beach of Tulum
