It Was Quiet And comfy. Very nice beach and pretty clean pool. Clean and you pretty much get your money's worth.
Rooms were a bit small but for what we paid I think it was fair. No TV but that gave us a chance to talk and enjoy the beach without the kids wanting to go back to the room to watch cartoons.
Pool and dog friendly.
No tv or internet in rooms.
The beach was great. The staff worked very hard and the breakfast was excellent
On all three days we were there we did lose water at different times. The staff did manage to get it going and at one time an outside plumber was called in. The hotel is old and even though some of the problems may be the cities I think there is need of upgrades here
Setting lovely, breakfast which was included is excellent
For the price they really need to upgrade rooms, particularly the bathrooms. Price was the same for a large room and smaller rooms. Found better quality for less money or the same elsewhere.
That it was right on the beach. They serve a good breakfast and the staff was friendly.
No modern services like phone,TV, or internet. The split doors were a pain to close. There are better value hotels nearby with a lower cost.
The location, the comfort, value, staff. La Posada is a quaint, smaller hotel, many rooms are bungalow style and affords for additional privacy. Well worth the stay.
could use so touch up plastering and painting in the rooms and also some updating of the fixtures in the bathrooms.
Beautiful view of the beach. A wonderful hotel. Small and quiet.
Location is very out of the way, which is not a problem if you have a car or don't mind using a taxi to explore.
Breakfast, Hotel Layout, beach access, pool.
Hotel under construction, no discount as advertised, no lunches or snacks as advertised.
Very Accomadating and helpful staff.Delightful stay, nothing fancy but we new that when we booked.Just a delilightful peaceful place to stay, and they are very dog friendly, will go back again in a heart beat,Thank you Juan and staff
I really enjoyed my time at La Posada. It did not have a restaurant, but that was good for me because the hotels that do have one tend to be loud and busy. The owner was very nice and showed me around. Then, I walked about for 2 minutes and got to the beach, where there was plenty of food, chairs, and sand. I had a great view of the ocean from my balcony!
The hotel's oceanfront location is a real plus. We went there knowing it was a very budget-friendly option and not expecting much, and that was a good thing. Loved being right on the ocean's edge and was happy that the beds and linens were clean and not gross. The room itself was very very simple, Mexican-style with cracked tiles, etc but not overly dirty. The pool is actually really nice for what it is, small but deep and very clean, with a good shallower area for kids.
The hotel staff was highly incompetent in terms of charging for drinks and the room itself. They had a shady drink special that required you to buy something like 3 micheladas each (that would be like drinking 4 liters of tomato juice mixed with beer- who has the stomach for that?) and that was poorly communicated (in Spanish, my husband is Mexican and we live in Mexico). Also, they couldn't find anyone to charge us for the room when we checked out. And no, this is not typical of Mexico. The other thing people should know is that this is a highly unappealing area of Manzanillo, probably one of the worst beaches for tourism, very industrial. The beach itself has loads of trash- the owners of the hotel should really take responsibility for cleaning it!!
