The grounds were pretty and I appreciated the towels provided on the poolside chairs.

The rooms are priced well beyond their value. There are not nearly enough amenities included to account for the price.

    Lovely setting add ambience

The place was like a ghost town after about 4pm on Sunday. bar and restaurant were closed and couldn't even get a cocktail . had to track someone down to turn on the Jacuzzi.

The hotel is really nice, with lots of space and big bedrooms.

is a bit of a steep walk to/from teh city center

The setting, on a hillside, and the hacienda-style furnishings.

Many details made this not a four-star property, as advertised: - our sheets had large, yellow stains on them. - our suite's kitchen had a random mattress stored in it [!] - there was no hot water in the bathroom sink, only the shower. - in a country with delicious limes, their margarita tasted like it was made with gross, bottled sour mix. - there was no room service menu. I called an asked for one, and was asked "well, do you know what you want?" (how would I know if I don't know what they have???) - I called at 7:45 a.m. to ask for a glass of milk for my toddler. I was told I would have to wait until 8 a.m. because service doesn't start until then (a four-star property would have just sent me a glass - it takes little effort. Plus, they were actually out of whole milk [!] so they had to send someone out to buy some. At least they did.) - they advertise a shuttle service but it's really hit or miss. You may have to wait a long time or take a taxi. It's close to town but the walk back is more like a hike uphill, not appropriate for older folks or those with health issues.

The setting and facilities. Beautiful spacious rooms.

Their internet access is the slowest I have ever experienced in a hotel, and only available in a small section of the facility, not in our room. There was a leak in our room after a rainy night.

you fill like everything is about your moony, and the services don't really meet the amount you pay. breakfast realy bad, things dont get onetime. when they had to prepare an extra bed that was paid, it wasn´t done until after we arrived and asked even though it was mentioned before. towels for 2 instead of 3, etc..
