Great stuff in the reception - very friendly and helpful. Really personal care. Its not directly in the center, but quite close and easy to get to with metro. Definetely a great place for backpackers or someone looking for a good value hotel. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice and honest stuff! (I forgot two bankcards in the room - which I changed - and received them suddenly again. And it was possible to leave some luggage there for two weeks, without any cost! The price is perfect and the metro is only a 1-minute-walk away. Bathroom was not thaaaat clean.

staffs are so nice and kind !!! That's the best thing in this hotel. There is a staff who can speak English. They offer foods that cook in a kitchen at their hotel. Outside is very noisy even it's over midnight even till early morning. Room walls are not so thick.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Clean rooms, Metro stop nearby, easy access to Zocalo and other Mexico City sites. Good restaurants and supermarket nearby, . Building acoustics could be improved--Conversations and laughter could be heard throughout the night..

Javier. The price. Location by metro and supermarket. Hot water (to drink and and shower!). At night with bathroom light on you could see through to the shower from the main corridor. Wifi didn't reach room very well. Lockers available with your own lock but you still need a key. Walk from metro station at night feels really unsafe despite being just 100m, though we didn't have any problems.

The staff speaks English very well so do not need to worry about the communication and he is really really friendly who tells us a lot of places of interest and showed them on the map then told us how to get those places. Thanks so much for your help. And the hotel is very near to the metro only three stops you can reach downtown.

Excellent value for money. This price only worth Javier (owner of hotel), because of his kindnes, helpfull and perfect english!!! First day he go with us to show where is supermarket, and few days later when we had card problem there, he go again and help a lot because nobody there knows english. We book 2nights,but stay 4. And we every day go with metro (3pesos :)) and trust me,its important to have it so close to hotel. Its only 200m. Excellent hotel and staff!!!

Hotel was great, it's close to Metro station and huge supermarket. There's also good cafe VIPS nearby so you won't need to go far away to find a place to eat. Rooms are clean and nice, everything is working properly, it's all that budget travellers need. Also I'd like to thank Javier for all help! He speaks english so you won't have any language problems. Summing up it's the best place to stay if you're limited with funds.

The hotel was a little way out of the historic downtown and while my taxi driver from the airport had no idea where to go, the general location was good. It is close to the subway station (3 stops to historic downtown and 3 pesos for one way ticket) and there is a local supermarket and restuarant close by. The hotel room I stayed in was basic, however very reasonable for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and Javier, the owner, was fantastic in offering advice, assistance and local knowledge. He went out of his way to ensure my stay at the hotel and Mexico city in general was pleasant. The room I stayed in was close to the road and opposite a school, so it was very noisey.

Excellent location less than one minute walk to the metro station and three stops away from Downtown. There is a Vips (Mexican restaurant chain) around the corner open 7am to 12pm very convenient for a quick breakfast or a late dinner. Staff very very helpful and nice. Javier is the person you got to ask for anything you can need on your trip planning. Basic rooms and hot wather on the shower. You can not ask for more for the money you will pay for it!!

The guys are great! I and my wife stay here for continuous 7 nights. It is really good for budget travelers. The location ( metro/subway line 2, 8 and 9) is really convenient. However, if you are picky or want a luxury travel, this hotel is not your choice.

staff were friendly and helpful. close to metro station, metro is fab and really cheap. stay in most expensive room, its still cheap but ridiculously cleaner and more comfortable than other rooms we had originally booked cheapest room so wasn'y expecting much, we instantly upgraded and it was still grim, the wet room felt discusting did not want to wash in it. had to keep shoes on to walk on carpets, smely smokey too. we then upgraded again and the difference £3 makes is massive

This was the cheapest hotel I found in the city. I was nicely surprised by the hospitality and friendliness of the owner. Also, the room/bathroom was very clean and its location is central. Definitely would recommend.

Some of the rooms are modern and very nice, comfortable, with private bathroom. Cable tv is a cool bonus. The new rooms are very clean. The hotel is very close to the metro which makes getting around the city very easy. The owner is very helpful and speaks very good English. The price is very good for the great quality of the rooms. If you accidentally book into an older room like I did, you might want to change rooms to a newer one. But I was able to do this on the owner's recomendation with no fuss at all. The neighbourhood is a little run down and can be dark late at night. This might be concerning for female travellers. But I always felt safe despite it being dark. Taxi drivers got lost the few times I did catch one. So they don't seem to know the area and hotel well. So I often preferred just to jump on the metro.
