The food was not good. We were there during the middle of the week and it seemed as if we were eating old food. The white rice was dry and the enchilada was luke warm and old tasting. On another evening we had dinner and the food was mediocre. I love the hotel and hope that it does well so for that reason I recommend improvement in the meals of the restaurant.
Location on the water
street noise, several lights did not work in our room
The view was stunning and location was very good. Nice facilities and pretty good staff.
The room was dirty and the AC did not work. The room needs some upgrades and renovation.
the location was great
even though the location was great it was WAY overpriced for the facility and were we were in Mexico. not particularly clean small rooms small bath
I loved staying at this hotel. The staff and atmosphere was excellent. The cleanliness amazing!!! I would recommend it for all ages!
Nothing at all
Everything didn't have room ready had to wait no AC in rooms customer serve was bad over all would not stay here again!!!! Not worth the $$$$$
Love the setting and location. Been here many times.
Rooms lack coffee makers and refridgerators which are good for when it gets really hot.
Good service, beautiful view, excelent food!
I think they are remodeling some of the rooms already, but ours was still the old fashion stuyle, the carpet was dirty, bathroom too little and not enough light, had a strong pesticide smell before entering the room. In general was a good experience, but I think the price was too much for the quality of room that we got. No room refrigerator or hair dryer either. Again, for the price we paid, we expect a little bit more.
The view and the staff friendliness
The food quality is average to sub-par, rooms have an odd odor with dated furniture and dated decor, the room's bathroom lacks comfort and ease of use.
Every single room has a view of the ocean. You can hear the waves at night and it is so peaceful.
Jacuzzi needs to be hotter
I liked it years ago, it seemed like it went down hill from there
The tub leaked, too much construction being done,
We have been visiting Las Rosas for 30 years and spent our Honeymoon there; we return three or four times a year for a truly fantastic time. The location is perfect; the infinity pool, the crashing of the ocean waves, the pleasant wait staff--we could go on and on! This time we stayed in one the newer luxury units with a spa tub and living room area. Wonderful! The menu is nicely varied and there are several nice restaurants within a mile. Enjoy! Though the toll road has been compromised, driving on the "free" road section was safe and easy.
The location and staff were great. I was a bit worried that the hotel might have been really noisy as it sits between the highway running into Ensenada and the beach. Fortunately, everything is well shielded and noise wasn't a problem. Also, while the hotel was at full occupancy, it really never seemed crowded or noisy. At times it seemed that we almost had the place to ourselves. Finally, the rooms were and common areas were comfortable.
The hotel is really showing its age. This was especially true outside with cracks in the patios and tile falling off the pool. The internal decor and rooms also need a bit of TLC. For example, our room carpet was a bit worn. However, it looks like at least a project is underway to start fixing up the pool area. This wouldn't have been so much off an issue if the price had been lower. I paid a price similar to what I paid previously for better in Hawaii and way more for something much better in other parts of Mexico.
Nice location, pretty views, good food. Nice spa. Great terrace in our suite
LOUD! Overpriced!!! our suite carpet was stained and nails coming up. Hole in wall of bathroom. Coffee pot with coffee, no cups. Hotel was understaffed. Needs a complete overhaul.
$7 cab ride to dowtown, beautiful view, amazing pool
Room needs more maintenance, construction during weekend
According the front desk they have not my reservation that I meke 3 weeks in advance, was realy really bad experience, we was all tired from driving hours, and the hotel have not room for you, they dont care they just say " o the travel agency never send a CONFIRMATION"
Beautiful room and view of ocean. Extremely relaxing. Very clean. Definitely recommend it but thought it was a bit over-priced since it came to $300 for two nights.
Hot tub was not hot.
Great service and very affordable for the location and amenities.
The staff real educate and helpful, bathrooms super clean, excellent food, amazing service. TV had a great signal
It was very relaxing and a wonderful experience. Wish we could have stayed longer
Loved the view, waterfront location, restaurant, gym and priximity to both Valle de Guadalupe wine country AND Ensenada.
Some road noise, inevitable, from highway 1.
Sauna, hot tub, rooms with great views
Not very helpful staff
My room was right in the ocean & you can hear the waves through the night. The bed was very oft & comfy. They were ready for me immediately at check in. Free parking. Nice bath products particularly the soap.
Had some difficulty operating TV. It was noisy from people partying & road noise because it is adjacent to Route 1. Difficult to find the hotel in the dark. A lighted sign could be useful
