The garden area is lovely and relaxing. Enrique goes out of his way to assist travelers.
The staff was very helpful and cordial
Room dimly lit. If you want to read in the room, carry a flashlight. You only get a bottle of water during your stay.
Location Hotel design
Rooms 7 and 8 have no windows. Beware!
The hotel is very green and well thought-through as you find lot of small nice things in the decoration of the hotel. It has an outdoor pool where it is so nice to swim after full day of excursions. You would even find a hammock in your room in addition to beds:)! Good wifi, hot water in the rooms.
The breakfast included in room rate is very basic, coffee and toasts with jam. If you would want an omelette it would be extra. For 4-star hotel hot breakfast is implicit in my view:(
Fixed tables at breakfast. Room off entry hallway
We had a nice and spacious suite on the upper floor. Friendly staff. Guarded carpark just across the street.
Breakfast Ok but not great. No restaurant. Would have preferred a closer location to the old town center (20 min walk).
the Structure in general
Beautiful decorations and friendly staff!
The hot water wasn't really hot on the evening..
We loved the spacious room with the hammock right by the window! The included breakfast was healthy, delicious, and fresh. The hotel is about less than 10 minutes walking to the center and 5 minutes to the beginning of the Paseo de Montejo. Good location!
There were a few things that could use definite improvements at this hotel. Firstly, the main hotel door closes at 11pm. When we asked what would happen if we came back after 11pm, the receptionist said we would be locked out. So, we felt a bit like high school kids with a curfew. Secondly, in the shower they have a soap dispenser that has regular liquid hand soap in it and a large Costco size bottle of shampoo. It was a little weird not to be provided our own individual bottles of these things. It felt like we were at a mix of a friend's house and public bathroom. Thirdly, the bottles of water provided for brushing teeth were not replaced the second day of our stay. Since you cannot use the tap water in Mexico, we felt the water should have been provided each day.
Very friendly, lovely location, brilliant breakfast, quiet,
Our room was next to the front desk and didnt have great windows.
Very nice and charming B&B. We had one of the garden rooms which was absolutely great. The staff was helpful, an early breakfast was no problem to organise.
Great atmosphere, lovely hotel
I stayed for five days and while the breakfast was lovely, it was the same ever days, so would have been nice to have something different for longer staying guests
Service and location was very good. It also includes free secure parking. The upstairs room had nice natural lighting and was spacious.
1. Breakfast not served early enough, only ate once out of 3 days as we had early morning excursions and they couldn't even give us a packed breakfast or bread in the morning. 2. On our first night, we stayed in room 8 near the front, quite a dark room without much natural light, shower wasn't that good and we could not get the wi-fi signal. We were moved to a room upstairs for the following nights.
The hotel needs more attention on cleanliness of the rooms
The place is beautiful, is a small hotel and that makes it cozy.
The breakfast is continental breakfast, only fruit, juice, some bread and jam's if you want something additional like eggs you need to pay extra.
Location is good.
Bed sheets were stained, old and dirty
Small hotel (8 rooms), colonial style maintained very well, all facilities included, excellent price with continental breakfast on the swimming pool included!
Nothing. Everything was perfect during my stay.
Amazing rooms and position Staff very friendly Check in also late in the night Amaca in the room
Good location, friendly personal, free parking, nice pool, tasty breakfast - all what's needed if you had aim to oversee the Merida. Very close to traditional Mayan restoration - Chaya Maya (must visit).
Don't agree to live in the room number 5. It's close to pump that makes terrible noise. It automatically switch on if somebody in the hotel takes a shower. We agreed to change the number for the night without problem. It's only applicable for room 5, rest is fine.
A 10min walk from the city central square. Nice entry into the hotel with a swimming pool. There is a basic breakfast served.
Our first room was extremely dirty with a shower that wasn't working and dirty sheets. We complaint and could upgrade for more money. That's something you shouldn't do as a hotel owner. Make sure your rooms are clean or take responsibility of your mistakes if you make them.
I will stay there again and all I needed was provided! Quiet, great location!
Large attractive room. Lovely garden and eating area. Location close to the central city but in a quiet street. Parking provided.
Wifi was a bit slow!
Beautiful yard with a small pool to cool off and a nice breakfast area. The breakfast was yummy and more than enough.
There are two rooms with no outside view. They are big and nice, but you should be prepared.
Personal attention to service is exceptional Breakfast is extremely simple and wonderful. Ambiance is great
It was well located in the centro, at walking distance to everything.
The neighbour dog barking all night, the bed with a big whole in the middle and the pool's engine making noise all night
