It was a quick walk to the beach and center of the city. The deck was the only thing decent and the front desk was pleasant
Well, it was very misrepresented. The picture of the pool and balconies were right. And the nice things about the hotel. The rooms were awful. Holes in walls. Molding falling down. No water pressure. Things to cook with but no kitchen? Strange. Bed was like a slate. Maybe if I payed 50 dollars a night instead of close to 100. The pictures on your site (some of them) were clearly of another hotel. Very disappointed.
Location close to 5th Avenida/Avenue where all the activity it. Good value for your money. Staff friendly and helpful, pretty efficient
small hotel, poor breakfast content and facilities; WIFI only available around the ground floor office
no wifi in room and uncomfortable bed
The appearance of hotel, outside - pool clean, rustic, pretty appearance of the rooms. Thatched roofs etc very appealing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ground floor studio a bonus.
I couldn't use the pool as disabled due to a stroke. A rail leading from the poolside into the water so I could get out would have been brilliant. This, unfortunately applies to most hotels worldwide! Also sun beds too low for me to get onto/ up from. Breakfast rather basic and no morning tea available. Nice people though.
The bed covers had blood stains.
Close to all amenities
Beds like rock
The staff were so great! Jeanette was so helpful booking out activities. Everyone at the front desk was friendly. The pool and garden are very welcoming. And pretty quiet at night.
The beds were really hard and no wifi in the rooms. Maybe in the ones on the ground floor closest to the desk.
everythinh! It was lovely, great staff, massive room! Would love to come back!
location, price, size of room
uncomfortable bed, poor wifi, old TV's, noisy airconditioner
For the money, it was a great value and only a few blocks from the beach at a time when everything in Playa was overpriced!
Cleanliness was an issue. The floor was sandy and dirty before we even moved in.
- The location is great, its a one block away from the 5th ave where all the action is - It is two blocks away from the beach
- The breakfast is very poor, only bread, jam, cereal and milk + coffee - there is a lot of mosquitoes in the place, no mosquito repellent in the rooms. - The AC is very noisy - The Wi Fi doesnt work in the room, it works only if you stay at the entrance of the hotel
1 Staff 2 Room is big 40m2
Towels rebuild and very old. 1 Air conditioning working but noisy. 2 Bathroom very old and too small. 3 No telephone on the room? 4 Swimming pool for children. 5 Bed as a MOTEL 6 Wi-Fi work only on lobby sometimes! 7
Bonita Terraza, Vista a la alberca.
Location and very helpful staff
Nothing. Everything was ok
This is just a fiasco. Do not ever book there.
Room was very large, the staff was very helpful, amenities and toiletries were quality.
Distance to the beach for the price we paid was high, breakfast was poor (no orange juice some sort of tang was served and bread), pool wasn't clean. The beaches in Cancun were much nicer than Playa del Carmen.
From the moment we checked in this place was terrible! The rooms are dirty, sheets were stained (we slept fully clothed), shower was a dribble of hot water and the back door had a basic lock system which made us feel so uneasy we took our valuables out with us. The safe was broken and there was a spare, free standing tiny box you could carry out the room with ease. The air conditioning was blowing out air intermittently so we put the fans on which were a health hazard as they whizzed so fast and loud. Free breakfast is three types of bread, a cut up orange and packaged jam. If you paid £20 you might put up with it but it was £130!!!! Go elsewhere!
Old rooms. Bad wiFi, Looks horrible, smelly bed, smelly bathroom. Toilet would not flush properly. No hot water. Terrible kitchen. Poor breakfast (instant coffee). Nothing good about this hotel
The size of the room was very good. The pool was small, but, clean. Having a refrigerator and microwave was convenient. Parking is secure and a very big plus.
The facility is showing its' age. There was a problem with the lock on the patio door, which was not fixed. The linens, towels, TV were all dated and due for replacement.
Very friendly receptionist Nice to stay on the apartment individual terrace. Friendly breakfast by the pool
Bed smelling of mold Top sheet half size
the staff was very friendly...except the one guy doesn't speak english..
i thought i was paying the price that was quoted on booking.com when i got there i was advised their commission was more money....so with commission it was $90 a night...so not worth that..have been to Playa 7 times...this was the worst hotel i stayed at for that price...
The pool,it was quiet place and the private parking
The breakfast was poor,we didnt bother eating it,the TV in the room was from the 90s,no bar or resturant at the hotel.
The price is very accessible.
The bed was hard as a rock.
Location is very good, price value too. You do not pay much and you dont get much. Rooms are ok, nothing fancy. I liked swimming pool.
Needs renovation and definitely you won't find luxury. But if you just want to stay in Playa and have an access to the swimmingpool for fair money, it it fine.
Everything the place is gross all is dirty
