The location was excellent and very clean. I like that they have an option of having 2 rooms in one hotel room since we travel with a nanny always.
The pool needs to be bigger and outside of the hotel. Bathroom too small
The location close to everything
The bathroom too small
Everything too expensive for what I paid per night
Affordable and very clean
No inter-phones and small swimming pool
I really liked the location of the hotel. I liked that we were able to accommodate our big family. Air conditioning was great.
It didn't feel to clean. The first night we got there we found snot on the wall. The room door was left wide open after being cleaned. This was unacceptable. The bathroom had a weird smell even after being cleaned. I guess you get what you pay for. They don't have an elevator.
One of the staff members put me in touch with a diving instructor who had me travel to cozumel for a diving course that didn't exist. It was scam. They took my 90 usd and I never got it back. Never trust staff at this hotel ! the manager is now trying to recoup 50 % of the stolen money. I will be in touch with him soon.
This is the worst place at Mexico I swear. Even one day there wasn't water at all the hotel.. one day in a paid vacation without browsing the teeth..
Room very basic and not very clean. Not worth it for the price. Low quality level. The roof top is a ghost zone. I will not recommend this hotel for sure.
friendly staff/very comfortable bed/good size room
noisy/no shower curtain/areas needed cleaning
We stayed two not very best nights in this hotel. The only two things i loved was the price and location. Staff was ok.
We stayed two not very best nights in this hotel. First of all pictures do not illustrrate the real situation, the hotel is older, and dirtier. Rooms are very wet and after shower water was everywhere.
Cleaning staff did a nice job on the daily cleaning. Located in Playa city center, convenient for walking to places one needs.
Horribly loud all night with party music and noise all night due to proximity to the party area of Playa. Other guests banging and yelling all night. This seems to be a hotel for young partiers who crowd together in a room to afford it. Room had kitchenette, mouse poop in the pots. Warm water in shower lasts about 90 seconds. Owner of hotel group miserly and interested only in maxiumum money from each guest. Internet only in lobby area which has two much-used and rather disgusting sofas, no other place to sit and work online. All around very disappointing and frustrating. There are much better places to stay in Playa, and for less money!
George at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, he was a pawn for a new owner who was very dishonest. If he does business like this, he's not going to last long.
I have traveled all over the world, and this was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. My friend and I stayed here for a few days because we were desperate. We went to Merida for two nights and were supposed to come back and have the hotel rooms for the same rate. The owner bumped us because it was the high season, then tried to turn around and charge us more than $400 a night where a few days earlier we had only paid around $100. And there were four rooms available. The rooms we stayed in had mold, the beds sloped, and the second room didn't even have a toilet seat. I wish I could say the location was great, but the thud of the nearby clubs went right through the walls. He also tried to charge this couple from Denmark twice and had their money tied up for a few days. Luckily they were able to call home and have the bank cancel the transaction.
overbooking and no communication with the personnel...lucky we had a room at last!
Good Location, kind and helpfull staff
Avoid. Hotel is barely a One/Two star hotel, more like a hostel. Very old rooms, bathrooms and common areas. Very tight stairway, room windows facing other rooms. Absolutely overpriced. There is no luggage room no safe in the rooms, no hairdryer. No air-conditioning and noisy old fans in the room. The hotel laundry machine is in the entrance creating smell and humidity. They charged 380 USD for January 31st!!! It's a rip-off.
In room impossible to breath.personal is every time talking loud near doors.high huminity in rooms.everything smells
The breakfast was awful... It seemed like they gave us old old food. Didn't feel really good after it. I don't recommend eating there.
Value for money and good location
Pool very small and misleading, not as expected in terms of style/vibe from pictures. Breakfast non existent
