Nothing. Tacky hotel - plastic chairs. Noisy - crazy elevator - could not open windows, as construction was taking place directly outside in the inner courtyard which was full of dust and debris. Horrible so-called restaurant. Dangerous neighbourhood - did not feel safe walking out at night.

The room conditions are very good! The A/C in the room didnt work but the guy in the front desk changed us to another one. He was very kind. Some parts of the hotel are in remodelation so the elevator and the stairs are not in a very proper conditions.

The entrance and cafe were nicely decorated in red and white with motifs that were replicated throughout the hotel. Cafe food was simple but fine. The room I had was very large with 2 double beds, well decorated and very clean- and smelt nicely of bleach. I was surpised that there was a coffee machine' very useful for my jetlag when I woke up at 5am!. There were also nice touches like scales, hairdryer and toiletries. Bed was very clean and comfortable and enough towels. Staff really friendly and when I went down at 5.30 to have a cigarette offered to go and pick up breakfast for me- however I speak fluent Spanish and lived in Mexico so this probably helped. Minor complaints were that lifts were a little slow and scruffy, the toilet paper hadnt been refilled´- I{m sure I could have rung down and got them to do it but too tired and when I paid in cash the receptionist gave me what he said was 40 pesos in coins as change in fact he had given me 4x5 peso coins not 4x10 peso coins so he conned me out of 20 pesos! I was a bit slow and did´nt realise till I was in the taxi! Also not given a receipt so hope he didn´t pocket the rest! Also there isn{t a shuttle to airport as indicated in writeup, but taxis easy to get and it costs 180 pesos- about 10 pounds english

The hotel is close (10 minutes) from downtown (Zocalo) and other important places from Mexico City. Very close to underground station (Juarez) and traditional market (Balderas). It is clean and modern (wifi, tv). Afterall a good place to choose. The free breakfast is very monotonous. The payment was a poor experience. Booking.com said me that I'll pay 250 euro, but at the hotel they accept only pesos, even if you pay with card. So they changed euro in pesos, at the worst rate (of course!) so I paid somehing like 280 euro. I felt cheated... The frontdesk staff could be more friendly. We spent our money in their facillity (and there are lots of hotels in Mexico City...).

The location and price were amazing. Staff was friendly and hard working. When we arrived they set up on the 8th floor. It was aweful looking, but they moved us right away to the newly remodeled thred floor which look just like the pictures of the internet.
