We love this hotel! It is very luxurious for the money. You can eat at the hotel or there are many restaurants close by.

The lighting could be better.

The property is beautiful with great amenities and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

The plumbing appears to be kind of old and it took a while for hot water to start in the shower.

Everything was extremely beautiful; staff friendly and excellent English; breakfast buffet was very good; internet worked well.

One very minor issue - the lights in the room could be brighter, as there was not much natural light in the room.

Wi-fi didn't work in rooms.

Everything about this hotel was done well...the decor is outstanding, and everything was beautifully maintained. Lots of atmosphere, including the pleasant sounds of he fountain in the lobby atrium and soft piano music (live!) even at breakfast. Very good breakfast buffet and menu, and delicious dinner...even vegetarian.

Some people would object to the internet being available only in the lobby, but with the piano music and fountain, I found the lobby to be a delightful place to check email. In my mind, no problem!

I liked everything about the hotel and staff. The location is excellant, the staff was always friendly and helpful. My friends were very impressed with the appearance of the hotel upon their arrival. We have stayed at this hotel before and will certainly make it our choice next time in GDL.

Beautiful decor and reasonable food prices. Fun musical entertainment.

Asked for quiet room and could hear elevator clonk all the time. We were moved to another room but it shouldn't have happened in the first place as twice we specifically asked that the room be quiet.

I like the hotel for it's historical look and ii's location to the downtown core. I liked the nightly intertanment that was provided.

The restuarnt is not something I would recomend the few times we ate there the food was not good. Our first room was well lets say sewer smells, I asked to change rooms the second room was much better.

Good food at the restaurant, nice music at night. Bathroom was lovely but we upgraded.

Room smelled moldy and they only had coffee in the room the first night nothing after. The price we upgraded to was $160. per night. I would think they could provide coffee package for that price and they consider themselves 5 stars

Was charged twice, once for reserving room another for room. Desk said they would be issuing credit to my credit card later. Rather non chalant about it

This was our first visit to Guadalajara and our first stay at the Hotel Morales. The hotel was amazing! The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and terrace were beautiful. The hotel is great value and we'll be staying there on our next visit to Guadalajara.

The ambience of the hotel- old world.

The water system in the hotel is not filtered. You must use bottled water for everything including brushing your teeth.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel design and atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and professional and our room was large, comfortable and very clean. The location was excellent and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy with all aspects of the hotel. Very close to the historic center, and the market. We found the dining facilities at the hotel to be very good and reasonably priced. The staff was very accomidating.

There was nothing we did not like about our stay.

I was pleased with the hotel's location. It was centrally located and made for easy access to any part of the city.

We loved the colonial restoration, food and staff were excellent, very comfortable accommodations for excellent value. We will stay again for sure when we return to Guadalajara!

The lobby area is always dark and a bit depressing, especially if it is emptyI . Candles on the dining tables would make a big difference in atmosphere.

The colonial style architecture, large rooms and character of the hotel. The furniture and furnishings were high quality and in keeping with the Eric'S. The location was excellent, a walk to all sights and within easy reach of restaurants and shopping.

The rooms facing internal courtyards are dark and smell musty, they need more air circulating to freshen them. There s a disco underneath the main courtyard connected by a door which is soundproof, if this is open sleeping is impossible.
