Mosquito Blue  

The hotel is very central in Playa del Carmen. You can use the beach facilities of Mosquito Playa with no extra costs, though is not guaranteed you can find a beach bed there if you arrive late, as they rent them to non-guests also. The staff is friendly and can arrange tours in some of the attractions that are located nearby Carmen.

The hotel stands right in the street where most of the nightclubs in Playa are located. Inside the room is never too noisy with doors and windows closed, but one can still listen to the music coming from the nearby clubs. It didn't bother us significantly, as we used earplugs, but if you don't want to use one and have a very light sleep, it can be a problem.

The hotel is amazing , the staff and the service are very good .

The price is a little bit high

Very noisy, impossible to sleep, the hotel is located near several "antros" so its non-stop very loud music until 7 am!

Beautiful architecture and grounds. The pool areas and lounge areas were very nice.

The check in process. We had already given our credti card in advance and there seem to be more interest in charging us for the room right away and having a $1000 approval for any incidentals than to welcome us to the property. I feel the front desk staff should be more welcoming and talk more about what the hotel offers and ensure that the guest has a nice stay.That seemed to be completely missing in the process.After all, the hospitality business is all about people.

Great location and nice environment within the 5th avenue craziness of Playa.

Things happen slowly in MX. Be patient with the staff.

A localização e a cortesia dos funcionarios.

A decoração dos quartos standart é muito simples e sem charme, os quartos são úmidos e têm cheiro de mofo. Poucos espelhos no quarto ( não tinha nenhum de corpo inteiro).Informaçõesconflitantes recebidas dos funcionarios da recepcao (Pablo e Sérgio). Ao reclamarmos das condições do quarto (mofo), com o atendente Sérgio e a gerente Vera e das informacoes conflitantes oferecidas pelos mencionados funcionarios, a gerente,em momento algum mostrou-se sensível ao nosso problema. Ao contrario, sua posicao foi intimidadora: o tempo todo nos ameacou, alegando ser esta a politica do hotel: estando o cliente satisfeito ou nao, deve permanecer no hotel ou, se sair, arca com o ônus de pagar pelo periodo integral da reserva. Nunca mais volto ao Mosquit

Excelente ubicación y atención del personal muy amables

Indudablemente el servicio del personal y las instalaciones. La atención del club de playa inmejorable. De verdad una experiencia muy muy buena sin duda para repetir.

Los jardines, el club de playa, la cercania con la 5a avenida,el aspecto general de estilo.

En el restaurant de la playa necesitan personal con mas actitud de servicio, en general tenemos mejor servicio en Cancun y Playa del Carmen. La supervision del personal es pobre y creo que pueden mejorar mucho con mas capacitacion y estrictas normas de trabajo. Les convenia hospedar a personal que actue como auditores de Normas, Procedimientos etc. Con objeto de recibir comentarios profesionales sobre la actuacion de su personal. El hotel es de alto nivel, caro, y necesita mejorar. Me parece que las instalaciones del club de playa deben ser unicamente para huespedes, y no aceptar gente que viene de fuera , aun cuando paguen por el uso de la instalaciones.
