It has a nice beach, breakfast is good. One pool was in maintenence. Far from downtown and transportation options are expensive. I didnt like the 11am checkout, its too early and you dont really have time to do anything more than have breakfast and leave

January has perfect weather, very pleasant people visiting, working and living in the area. Lots of stuff to do or not do, if relaxing is your mission. Affordable Taxi or Uber rides can get you to Puerto Vallarta or Bucerias within 30 minutes. Spanish speakers will have no trouble getting around and even those who have a limited understanding will have little trouble as most residents speak english.

Nuevo is nicer than Puerto Vallarta, quiet and peaceful versus the hustle and bustle of touristy Malecon in Vallarta, lots of traffic, noise associated with it etc.
Nuevo is pricier , big money, and affluence in Nuevo area where I stayed. Well groomed walk ways (don't have to worry much about stepping in a hole like Vallarta)- median has walkway for joggers, dog walks, regular walk. Its upscale for sure.

At first I thought it was a little isolated but we realized restaurants etc. were a short ride away.
My husband enjoyed walking in the area and it was easy to walk on the beach or path to Bucerías.
I would definitely stay there again!

Nuevo Vallarta is mainly huge hotel complexes with their own private beaches with a small ish shopping plaza with a supermarket. The area around mainly caters for middle-high end budgets. Although there us a nice fish restaurant (beach shack type) with mainly mexican food 15 mins walk from the beach on Paseo de la palmas
If you are looking for Mexico, you are not going to find it here...typical American resort if that's tour thing. If not old Puerto Vallarta is by far the better place for 'a bit' of authenticity if you look carefully.
We were met on arrival and the host explained everything and gave us the door code. Unfortunately, the batteries needed changing on the electronic lock, but this was done straight away as soon as it was reported. The location was perfect, close to a bar & snack shack, the pools, beach and restaurants. Even travelling to restaurants outside the complex was only ever around 10-15 mins and 60 Pesos.
The property had good potential IF things worked the way they were supposed to and if there was better maintenance throughout. The common pool was really good; the kitchen was good; beds were comfortable; ACs worked well and the security guard at the gate was super helpful. There was sufficient parking, and the location was within a short driving distance to the beach and good restaurants.
The beach was fantastic and kept very clean, and the food service near the beach was exceptionally good. The room (apartment for 6; incl. a 1-year and 3-year old) was nice, kept very clean, and very quiet. The pool was beautiful and kept very clean. The food was terrific. Staff was all very friendly. All very positive. Worth coming back!
Beautiful location right on the beach, with multiple pools, including a quiet “no kids” pool which we found relaxing. The room was in great shape, with contemporary furnishings in the bathroom. Sure, the TV was tiny, but you don’t go to Puerto Vallarta to watch TV. The food was varied and good, with our dinner at Las Palomas exceptional.
This property is like a hacienda that’s been covered into a boutique hotel. This hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are darling. Some have a small kitchenette. The grounds are immaculate. There is a outdoor unheated pool and hot tub. Staff is very accommodating.
I highly recommend Parota Inn. Great I will definitely return.
New and clean property. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
The lobby was good to hang in. The pool was nice. We could hear the highway noise in the pool area but it didn’t bother us.
We had a car and were able to use the hotel as a base to see Nuevo Vallarta. However, without a car it would be s challenge.
Nice quiet property with large rooms. A 15 minute walk to beach. I would stay here again. Breakfast is simple mexican style food. With fruit, eggs, rice, beans, tortillas and toast. Slight variations each day. Restaurants and Oxxo within 5 min walk away.
Facilities were great. Staff kind and helpful. I had a mixup with my booking sage (accidentally booked a night earlier) and they fixed it up without fee or problem. Food was good and helped with veggie options. Right on the beach.
The location was good, across the street from the beach. Also the marina was directly behind the hotel, so we walked there several times, and it was nice. Also very close to Eddy's restaurant, which is very good, and great food!
Terrific value. We travel through out Mexico and start and finish here as it is so relaxing. Many Canadians come here as the owner speaks excellent English and the staff are very friendly. Beautiful rooms and great pool.
smaller resort great location lots of palapas on the beach beautiful grounds; buffet were good. plentiful but some days hit & miss; pool very nice lots of activities too.
