Very clean the bar tenders are excellent.

The hotel was overbooked so they sent me to another hotel. The next day they refused to provide transportation back to retrieve my vehicle. I wont be staying there again unless I am reimbursed for my costs.

Location

The hotel looks better in photos than the real thing. The hotel is old and poor maintained.

Room service sent me cold breakfast

I was in a master suite, so it was quite roomy for one person.

Goodness, where to start? I chose this hotel because of the glowing reviews all over the travel sites I visited. I decided to splurge on the master suite because on the hotel's website I saw a jacuzzi and thought I'd enjoy a relaxing soak. When I got to my room, I discovered the marble tiled bathroom had only a badly installed built in shower/tub combo with little bits of tile patching up the poor planning of the tiler. The shower curtain was very cheap too, not the sort of finishing one might expect in a suite in a highly recommended hotel. I thoroughly regret booking six nights there, the mattress was so hard I spent each night tossing and turning and attempting to prop myself into a comfortable position with pillows. It looked like the room itself had seen a lot of poor treatment and even worse repairs, I saw water damage rings on the ceiling, and holes as well as bumps in odd places that seemed to be attempts at covering up some issue. When walls/door frames had been repainted or touched up, the work was sloppy and paint was splattered on the closet door, the balcony railing, etc. The blackout curtains did their job well, but the gauzy outer curtains both had large tears in them. Also the marble coffee table top had been cracked in half at some point and just stuck back together with glue oozing out of the fault line. Four times in two days my key card demagnetized or something and the front desk was really annoyed when I asked to have it reprogrammed. The last time, I asked if they might switch it for a different card or give me a second one as a backup so I wouldn't have to keep bothering them, but the lady told me to find housekeeping in the future and have them let me in if I had more issues with my key. The housekeeping was very minimal, the garbage was emptied each day, but the sheets and towels were never replaced during my whole stay, despite my leaving towels in the bathtub and the "please change the sheets" card on the bed.

The staff, parking attendants, the best, the bells boys and restaurant staff, the drawback the reception staff not good, they were not corteus at all they did not pay too much attention to be attentive but overall the rst of the employees and hotel location, price and quality very very GOOOD.

All was very good! Got excellent recommendations from the Chef for our travels throughout Baja California and hence could enjoy gourmet food and good vines every day! Bravo!

Their location is perfect for city trip, very good food at restaurant.

Long waiting time at the front parking area for check-in and after check-out, long waiting time to drive out. Also, nice pool but no outdoor jacuzzi.

I did not like that the "King Suite" room was not a Suite but, a large room. Suite should definately be taken off the room name, it's misleading. One of the lamps had no power outlet near it and could not be used. The table in the room was placed in an area without power outlets. Overall the room had a real lack of power outlets and made it difficult to work on my laptop. The staff downstairs at check-in did not tell me the Internet access code. There were some loose ends in service. Due to location and a lack of power outlets in the room along with deceptive room description, I will not be staying there again. If there are any better rooms, the front desk staff did not let me know if they had an upgrades.

The room was very clean and spacious and the hotel looked new. The was a gym and an outdoor pool which looked nice but I didn't have time to use either.

The day staff was helpful, courteous and eager to please. The hotel was beautiful, perfectly located and the King Suite was wonderful!

The night staff was the most obnoxious, rude, inefficient and uneffective group I've ever encountered! It took 4.. FOUR.. different rooms before they finally sent me to the accurate room I had reserved. There we went up & down lugging all our luggage every time. And to get a bad attitude from the receptionist who was making these errors was ridiculous. The restaurant had but a sigle waiter - and apparently the kitchen had 3 other events to cater to - so it took 2 hours to be served what was CLEARLY a plate that had been microwaved was a nightmare. The food was not good and I truly wish I would have walked outside to the taco stand accross the street instead! The waiters are in DESPERATE need of a course in customer service.

Very beautiful, small, hotel with an excellent restaurant and bar. They have a shuttle to the TJ airport which is quite convenient!

I booked with one price but ended up paying more when I got there. The exchange rate should not be an issue with the cost.

Staff should communicate more among themselves. I had different answers for the rate of my room from different people.

free shuttle to the airport was great! and proximity to restaurants and museums. free wifi is also such a nice touch.

My family enjoyed staying over the weekend at Palacio Azteca because it's like having a second home in Tijuana.
