The evening staff was really nice and helpful. It was a great experience. Defenatly coming back to this hotel.
rooms were very clean and staff very helpfull
they didn't have an ice machine so we kept having to ask the dining area and after so many times they told us they were out.
Las intalaciones y la locacion.
WiFi. No esta muy bueno.
The staff was excellent and the place extremely clean.
The WiFi was a little slow.
The location, the reception guy at evening was nice.
No minibar , no coffe machine, no in room menu, and the receptionest the tall lady at morning she was rude and sucking a lolipop in front of the guests while she was cheaking in,
A nice clean room at reasonable price.
No fan in the bathroom. No cup (not even plastic cup) in the bathroom. Just one chair in the room. No room service menu in the room.
Good Location Fast Wi-Fi Comfortable Bed Spacious Room Great Selection of Satellite TV Channels
Reception Staff Could Be Friendlier

Great place to stay if you have a flight out of Tijuana. Free airport shuttle a plus. Good breakfast buffet. This is a place the airline flight crews stay. A Big Boy coffee shop is a block away if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Short taxi ride to the restaurant district.
The lady at the reception desk was extremele rude!
The staff and front desk were helpful and quick. The bartender was awesome and the pool area was a huge plus for the 4 children that were with me. Thank you!
My only criticism is with the waiter at the pool Friday night August 15, 2014. He took way too long with our drinks that we had to physically go look for him twice. He did get one margarita order wrong and insisted that it was our fault and we agreed to just order another one. After 35 minutes we went to the actual bar to find out what the hold up was and we were shocked that our order was not placed. Our waiter's customer service skills were less then acceptable. Regardless if it were "just a drink" the Palacio Azteca could have profited so much more if we were treated properly. I must say our bartender was more then willing to fix the situation and lift our spirits, she is an asset!
The room was clean and the check out was minimal time.
No towels for the pool. I went out to the pool and no one from the front desk brought me one ad promised . Waiting for my car via valet parkingeach time was very annoying. The wifi connection and speeds for the internet was awfully slow and didn't work half the time.
Room was OK, Nice pool and the Breakfast Buffet just fabulous....
Front Desk make us wait for over 2 hours to give us a room arguing that they never receive my Booking reservation..There was also a problem with the rooms: they were not ready. So a lot of people was crowding the Lobby. I ended up paying more than the estimated price from Booking.com. We almost lost the wedding we were invited to participate that day...very unhappy customers. Thank you..
They gave am a fast pass for the border.
Their wifi wasn't working & they gave me a number to log in, knowing that it wasn't working. The check in was at 4pm when I reserved it to be at 1pm. The bathroom stalls in the lobby were so tight that my knees hit the door.
The hotel was extremely clean, modern, secure, and convenient location to everything.A beach day trip to Rosarito beach is only 25 minutes away by taking a yellow shuttle on the street behind hotel, with drop off across from hotel, only about 1.50 fare. The pool is great with a toddler pool for little ones,at night very pretty.
Check in is actually 3pm, not 1 like it states, though they do hold your luggage so you are free to explore or hang out at hotel while you wait.
Room was very clean, well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful in recommending a money exchange, a grocery store and a nearby taco stand. The pool area is well maintained. The food and drink prices were reasonable.
Poolside service was rather slow, but friendly.
Many places near by to eat.
Not having breakfast ready for 6 people, they charge me but we do not used services. can they credit amount. not having rooms ready only 2. we did check in at 11:30 om night.
Bed really comfortable, staff excellent, good location, good tv
Rooms are a bit small, they never went to do the room and pick up the plates from the room service we ordered
The bellboy was very courteous and helpful (they do work for tips)
I give this hotel two stars for the following reasons: 1. The women at the front desk were very unfriendly; they made us feel unwelcome right from the start. 2. We made reservations for two non-smoking rooms 3-4 weeks in advance, however, when we checked in we were given smoking rooms because “that's all there is available" we were told; although we specifically asked for non-smoking rooms when we made the reservation. The woman told us that "the reservation does not guarantee that you even get a room, so we could consider ourselves lucky to have smoking rooms". 3. The first thing we noticed on one of the rooms, the bathroom door was coming off the hinges; you had to lift the door by the door-knob in order to close it, then it would not stay closed because the lock did not have the bolt, just the knobs on both sides of the door. So in order to use the bathroom we had to jam the door closed by jamming a wad of tissue paper between the door and door-frame in order to keep the door closed. 4. There were two chairs in the room; one of them was broken. 5. We reported these issues immediately to the same person that checked us in, and then again the following day to another woman at the front desk, I also reported the issues to a woman that appear to be a housekeeping supervisor; I actually showed her the problem with the door, she took note and proceeded to report the issue to the maintenance crew. Again nothing happened to correct the problem. Later on, I reported the problem again to a maintenance crewman that happened to be by, I showed him the problem with the door; he apologized for the problem and said that he was working alone so he did not know if he would have time to fix it. By the time we checked out three days later the issue had not been corrected. 7. The safe was inoperable. 8. In the other room the toilet was plugged. 9.
