wi-fi is not free
Was Herr for three nights but spent most time traveling. Food was OK and always available. Pretty good staff.
Can't think of anything off hand!
The food was great. The hotel Staff were all very pleasant. We definately would recommend this hotel. Also, the hotel was kep very clean at all times.
The hotel has no beach! I was expecting clear ocean water and nothing it's all ocean.
The pools, beach, cleanliness, awesome staff, variety of food, great view, awesome shower!!
Pools were closed too early in the evening.
Super service, excellent food, snorkeling from the beach of the hotel
Size of double bed too small, have to pay 15usd/day for wifi, have to pay for gym
The room was clean and spacious. The pools were plenty and clean. The food was delicious.
the beach was rocky.
Bed size for a couple was TINY! Only one staff member was helpful, others seemed to have a bit of bad attitude, tour desk staff member left work early so we couldnt book a fishing trip and totally missed out.
The stay was amazing staff was very friendly.my first day of stay I was amazed how some of staff members called by my first name.
Too many repairs going on during our stay. Kids club 3 days, roof and so on. Front lobby people need to get some more smiles from the rest of the staff too.
Its not a 5* hotel, safe for 2$ fee, no free wifi, food and beverage quite low quality. Hotel is like a scout camp.Almost no soundproof in rooms, you will hear everything that happens in hall of your floor.
Everything including the small beach and reef just next to it, nice facilities.
The options on the buffet restaurant, not so many and a little lack of taste...
The small reef in front of the hotel beach was a good starter for snorkeling. The Mexicano restaurant at the resort offered good quality food with friendly staff.
The staff at reception were rude and not welcoming at all. They were not helpful and did not provide good costumer service. The Mexican workers at restaurants were however nice and helpful. The water at the two pools was not looked clean and clear. It seemed that the water has not been changed for a long time.
The bartenders, the Italian a-la carte
The lack of nightly entertainment and that they charge you for wifi
Staff are so friendly
Beautiful place. They have lots of activities in-house, but there's so much more to see and do outside.
Food could be better.
Ricardo at the concierge desk asked us to listen to the 90 minute time share presentation the morning after our arrival in exchange for reduced fairs on a jeep rental, massages at the spa, and passes to Tulum. We agreed but when we showed up on Sunday morning they told us they were too busy to speak with us and asked if we would come back the following day; on Monday when we arrived Ricardo took us to another area and introduced to us to another gentlemen who sat down and asked us "what do you two want?" We told him we have no idea what we are supposed to be doing but we are here for the presentation. After watching a 8 minute video and a quick cup of coffee we left as it was clear they wanted nothing to do with us. We asked Ricardo one day in advance for our jeep as he instructed us to do. When we arrived to pick up our jeep they brought us a geo metro with bald tires. We told them we were expecting jeep; they then told us we would have to wait until tomorrow. My husband and I were tired of the antics of Ricardo at this point so we ended up going across the street and paying extra money for pleasant service and enjoyed our day. Bottom line: leave the concierge desk alone and avoid Ricardo. We won't be returning due to this experience and the attitude of the front desk staff
People were very friendly and always had smiles.
Beds were very very hard.
The staff was amazing.
Love the room! The food was good but not great. The drinks are strong.
The whirlpool tubs are cold water tubs and the pool is freezing cold. The pool is as cold as going into a cold river or spring. Has little activities and the beach is tiny. The staff is nice but very unhelpful and unable to help and I feel limited to help by management. The food was good but very bland. Information about anything outside the resort is completely unavailable and internet is comunication is limited and undependable and to add insult to injury extremely expensive.
location was close to snorkeling at money bar
customer service was the worst I have seen. Staff was disorganized, slow, unaccomidating. We had to listen to loud drunk people snapping a bull whip in the hallway for about 30 mins after we had called twice before security took action .
The beach, pool and buffes. The best was the resturants specially the italian a la carte. Yummy
Extra for the gym.... should be for free I think. And the staff could be a bit more helpful and free WI FI instead of paying 10 dollars a day
Grounds were nice, location was ok
Certain staff members including front desk staff had a bad attitude and were always quick to say "no" to even small requests. We were put up in a corner room that opened to a noisy street and a change was out of the question. Also, not only we had to pay $15 to use the WiFi every 24 hours, you had to jump thru hoops to do it and the staff wasn't willing to help in any way.
The overall ambience of this accommodation is very good and made a perfect choice as a base for the ironman event.
Paying extra for wifi and use of room safe on top of an all inclusive rate.
