the place at the beach is amazing; the staff is really wonderful and kind;the rooms are clean and tidy! I had a great time and come back:) Thanks a lot!
the option of vegetarian food is not a lot or without any inspiration. you can hear your neighbor quite loud because (room 61/62) had a connnection door!
swaying palms on a private beach, streching in a group to chill out music under the palms, free snorkling equip. free margaritas!!
Location, must rent a car.
Great basic rooms with GREAT balcony nice pools and beach good food (repetitive after a week) nice drinks
everythink is clean but last renovation is some years ago
The resort caters mostly to Italians. The food is ok but not really that good. The rooms are nice and comfy and very close to the beach, which is also pretty nice.
The staff were very friendly and nice. The other guests a nice blend of Europeans and Americans (heavy on the French and Italians).
The music at night was so loud we couldn't sleep. The karaoke contest right outside our window until 11pm was not the peaceful vacation we were looking for. The full on concert the night before, that wasn't even near our room, but we could hear it very loud, forced us to check out early and find another hotel were we could sleep (even though we had prepaid the whole stay).
road to the resort needs fixing
Amazing location. My room opened straight out onto the beach! Really off the beaten track, so you'll ideally need a hire car to get anywhere. Really beautiful spot and very comfortable room. If you want a quiet relaxing stay in paradise, this is just the place for you.
The food was pretty terrible and lacked variety. Very little actual Mexican food - mostly European. The staff on checkout were really weird about the towels, and wouldn't let me leave reception until they'd checked I hadn't stolen them. I hadn't even used them as I had brought my own. Don't use the "spa" for a massage - the site shows it as being outside and lovely! Instead it was in an empty hotel room and a bit weird.
Everything location private and ocean front room staff was great snorkling great massage and the entertainment can't wait to go back
Location, staff were so nice, beach is clean & beautiful, rooms were kept clean.
Food was hit or miss, nightly noise level if staying near pool or entertainment area, driveway to resort is full of potholes.
Dinner was brilliant, beach is beautiful, nature, staff is lovely
Between main meals snacks not nice-mostly bread, croissants etc.should be more vegetables and fruits..)) and it's good to create a shuttle bus to the centre of Tulum-bus stop is far,in darkness at night, and taxi is crazy expensive((
The food, the beach, the room.
The rain that day... but it is not the fault of the hotel! Hotel was perfect.
We've got an amazing room with sea view, which means just several steps from the belcony was the sea!!!It was really fantastic. The food was very delicious and various. The staff was very pleasant and helpful!Everyone speaks English. The room was very clean and cute) Everything in the hotel is made to feel you comfortable, happy and relaxed!
The sea vas full of corals but it's just a tiny minus because the beach is open and you can choose any place to get into the water.
Beautiful grounds. Right on the beach. Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy drive (10 minutes) to the center of Tulum. Easy access to Tulum activities.
Rooms are clean and comfortable but not luxurious.
the location was ok, but tulum beach is 100 times better
the food, the staff, the fact the place was over priced and attempting to be something it was not, (a high price all inclusive resort)
The environment, staff, All rooms have an ocean view
The food was okay but simple.
The location is a dream; beautiful territory, pretty lobby with free wi-fi, good restaurant-quality food, plenty of swimming pools, on-beach massage. Free secure car -parking.
about 4 miles to Tulum. The access road is a challenge :)
- communicating rooms can be pretty (= they share a simple door and you can hear everything from the other room.......) - wifi in the rooms is NOT FREE... - quality of the food is average
My girlfriend and I were here for 6 nights and it was pretty great overall. Location was perfect - away from it all and only 20 pesos for a colectivo into Tulum town. The food and drinks were good for the price, though don't expect gourmet found at larger resorts. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy and I have to give them huge props for knowledge of this and their offering of alternative preparations to work around it. Animators work hard to ensure you have a good time (volleyball was fun!). Great value for some relaxation that leaves wiggle room in the budget for some external activities. Very international crowd :)
Hard to complain, because it was still a great deal that I would book again. Just a few things: We were misled to believe the room we booked had thatched ceiling. We were told they could give us one the next day maybe (when it was available). Based on the number of guests at meals, we concluded there's no way all those rooms were full, but we didn't want to unpack twice and just settled in. The room was still quite nice, even if the walls were a bit thin. Expected more than 1 white and 1 red wine from an Italian-run place. Would've liked to snorkel and kayak at the hotel. These things are free for guests for 1 hour/day. However, the dive shop guy wouldn't let us go out on the kayaks because it was a little windy. He also said we couldn't take out the snorkel gear because of low visibility (this seemed like something we could judge ourselves, but I didn't say anything). This guy acted annoyed at each of my questions and an hour later, he let another couple take the kayaks out. Maybe he needed a bribe or maybe it was because we're American? Rules are rules so we shrugged it off and decided to find activity elsewhere. Still great!
Pavo Real is situated on a stunning beach front and is just as advertised in the pictures. It is a perfect 'all inclusive' for those who enjoy things on a smaller and more natural scale. We got to know and enjoy the staff and it felt like we were welcomed guest into a small and friendly community. My whole family agreed this was "the perfect" vacation. We did rent a car which enabled us to get away easily to enjoy other surrounding offerings, but we always were thrilled to come back to the beautiful views, nice massages, entertaining shows, fun games, and comfortable beach chairs at the resort.
Two tips: a hot tub would have made this even more perfect for the chilly evenings; citronella candles at the outdoor beach to reduce mosquitos when the sun goes down.
TODO FUE ESTUPENDO
LA CALLE ESTA MUY MALA A LA ENTREDA
Great location, very frendly staff, good food, good animators, a lot of things to do.
Loved everything about this resort!! From check-in, to dropping us at our rooms, dinner. To the massages by the gorgeous Ignatio, which was AMAZING!! The bar staff, the staff doing all the activities!! The facilities and the food were soooooo awesome!! Yes it's a little but out of tulum but it's worth it.
The beach amazing, The team attitude, the security all during the day. There are 4 pools clean and fun. The food is great, a lot of selection, beautiful serving. The crew were young, kind and fun. The bar serve food and drinks all day. The all area looks great and lovely. We really enjoyed the staying in this hotel!!! In a full session it's better to to stay near the Bar because it's noisy at night.
There is a long ערשהקך road from the Colectivo (Taxi service) stop to this hotel and no one is coming to pick you up or drop you there when you checking out, we needed to take taxi that for our luck just went out from the hotel when it was raining and we pay him 150 Peso for 1 min drive!!! or you can wait for a ride if someone will come. The internet is only at the dining room and the lobby. The alcohol at the Bar was law quality.
Breakfast and main meal fair. Staff really kind and helpful.
Inclusive drinks and snacks at a very basic level. Beach OK although sand to gravy, maybe brcause of recent bad weather but don't really know
Food was delicious, plentiful and not the same every day.
Lots of rocks in beach
