My husband and I were worried about the firmness of the bed since we read that comment on the web site but we really liked the firm mattress - we slept very well all 3 nights. We liked the chef -- breakfast was very nice, the pancakes w/light yogurt & fruit were wonderful. If people are interested in massages/holistic therapies, the hotel is good about explaining these.

The room smelled a little musty but the ceiling is a thatched roof that has a small vent to the outside so that the fresh air comes into the room but also means some humidity will come in. There is a/c though. The hotel is right on a busy street which is not optimal but not bad either. It is just a couple of blocks from the main pedestrian drag, 5th Avenue.

The quietness, the feeling of security and the most pleasant and helpful staff you could possibly find! Also, the hotel is only two blocks away from the active 5th Ave, so you have the both of two worlds. This hotel is just a little gem.

Not that this is a criticism, but future guests should know that the rooms do not have TV or phone service. This may have been listed, but I overlooked it. Again, not a criticism.

Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms and gardens, and a great location. Good value for the money.

The beds were a little hard (apparently they are therapeutic beds), but the staff remedied the situation quickly.

Playa del Karma is a few blocks from the beach and the main shopping street, very convenient. The garden is lush and relaxing we loved sitting there to read, or on our private patio in the hammock. It's a wonderful small property and the staff is very gracious... the owners welcome you like family. I would stay there again as it was comfortable, quiet, affordable, and gay friendly.

L'emplacement est parfait a quelques metres de la quinta sans le bruits des resto et bar le top

Dommage pour nous 1 chien juste derriere notre chambre qui a commence a aboyer a 1h du matin la premiere nuit jusqu'a 3h le personel de l'hotel a ete discute avec le proprietaire mais difficile de faire taire un chien mais plus calme les 2 autres nuits de plus n'avons pas aime le petit dejeune du dimanche qui se fait dans un resto sur la quinta au lieu de l'hotel (qui est tout a fait convenable )

Zodra je door de deuren van het hotel heen was, kwam je in een prachtige binnenplaats/tuin terecht waar rust heerste en waar je niks meer van de drukke straat buiten hoorde! Het personeel was heel gemoedelijk en het voelde dan ook niet als een hotel aan waar het er meestal onpersoonlijk aan toe gaat, dit vind ik een grote kracht van het gezellig, kleine, idyllische hotel. Prijs/kwaliteit/service.
