The view from balcony is great.
The air conditioner was really loud, it was hard to sleep with it on. Wifi in room not good.
- great location! - has a private beach and a swimming pool right on the beach. - the rooms is with a balcony facing the ocean and the pool
We loved the continental breakfast . With coffee, cereal ,juice, fresh fruit, microwave . The location was nicely secluded on the beach with a beautiful pool, I will stay there again!
Perfect location. Not too big. Nice staff.
The location!!! 7 minutes walk from the center but as long as you want a beautifull peacefull place, this is the hotel to go to
Breakfast was minimalistic. The staff was ok but nothing more.
Location, location, location
The balcony was excellent overlooking the pool and the sea. A 5 min walk to Playa Norte, and a 5 min walk to the Main Street for restaurants and shopping. Peaceful place and a fair price.
clean, amazing view, nice crew, big king size bad, great pool.
Good location, beautiful room with good balcony, friendly staff, nice breakfast!
We got a room with an exit to the pool, King Room. Room very nice, large and clean his position about eight minutes walk from the center
Breakfast is very sparse, lazy staff, this dining room did not stop to talk to her or see a TV spot for people to eat. The meal consisted of bread and jam. Staff speaks very little English but knows not get to say anything. There is a TV room and jump Multi-channel.
The views from the balcony were amazing.
I had been travelling for 3 weeks around different parts of the country and had stayed in about 10 different hotels across different cities. My general observation was that the staff did not seem happy in providing catering and hospitality services in the more touristy Yucatan area of Mexico!!! Much less bothered, not much information, just a lower level of customer service than the other places I had visited in Mexico. Maybe more to do with training and management. Don't know.
the hotel is just magical with the sort of infinity pool and ist great Location away from the crowd but still pretty much central to everything.
The poor breakfast, internal policy obliges you to pay two first nights in cash.
The hotel has its own little private sand beach in between the rocks on this side of the island and also the pool is nicely overlooking the sea. The rooms are in good condition, very well equiped and keep spotless clean. The center of the town and Playa Norte are just 5 minutes walking away. Beachtowls are available and the staff is very friendly.
The breakfast is very basic, just sweet things, no proteins or salty choice available.
This property was the highlight of our ten days of travel in the Maya Riviera. Lovely, calm quiet property - exactly what we had been looking for. Centrally located, beautiful view and wonderful owners and staff.
We have absolutely nothing negative to say.
Medialuna has a very homey, small motel kind of feel, with reading nooks and bookshelves scattered throughout, and a beautiful small bay/beach area right outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. Each room has a spacious balcony area with a hammock and ocean view. It was quiet and comfortable, with couples, families, and divers staying there: A good place to meet people and learn about the area. The hotel doors were kept open to allow for the refreshing sea breeze to flow through. It was just a couple of blocks walk into the town or to the north beach area, restaurants, shopping and activity. Very convenient and safe location. The whole island feels very safe, and people are terrific. We stayed in a standard double room for 2 weeks, and we would definitely stay there again.
We really have no complaints about our stay. If you are looking for the perfection you might find at a 5 star hotel, then this is probably not your place. The room was clean and comfortable, and a very good value for the cost, but minus some of the bells and whistles you might find at a higher end place. Next time we come (and we will definitely return) we would actually upgrade to one of the rooms with kitchenette.
Great outlook of ocean and pool area, wifi worked in our room and breakfast was good enough too. Great location, loved our stay in Isla Mujeres.
Beautiful location. Very relaxing.
Location was fantastic on quiet surf side of the island but only short walk to swimining beach. Pool area was lovely cool place to relax with cheap yummy cocktails from the bar and fabulous views over the ocean. Peaceful and quiet location but still close to everything.
Breakfast was OK not fantastic. Staff were friendly enough but not overly helpful.
location, beach view, pool area, very quiet, clean, lovely beach
bedroom decor and hotel was dated and dark. Breakfast was not very fresh. beach should be raked and needs an outdoor bar.
Nice see view. Close to best beach on island.
The room was nice, location was good for accessing the main restaurant areas And beaches on the other side of the island.
Nightmare trying to book this place, booked 3 days before but no confirmation then told it was cancelled a few hours before we were supposed to arrive. Then got notification they hD charged my canard. Arrived and when we got to the room it wasn't ready (4pm) and they just laughed when we mention that we we're let standing outside the room waiting for it to be ready. At night it took 15mins to wait for someone to open the main door with no way to call.....this was just 11pm at night. Nice place and clear it was once under good management however no longer the case. Beach on this side of the island was not usable (red flagged) the whole time we were there.
Very nice outdoor pool and deck chairs for lounging around in the afternoon sun. It's about a 5 min walk from the main part of town so it's a bit quieter. You can't swim in the ocean just off the hotel but you can wade in the water a bit.
The staff were unhelpful and it always seemed like you were bothering them when you tried to ask for help. The breakfast was not good -- stale bread, some fruit and bad coffee. Definitely go into town for breakfast instead! The rooms on the ground floor hardly have any light, and if you open the curtains then anyone can see inside. I think the rooms on the upper levels would have been a lot better. I wouldn't stay here if I came back to Isle Mujeres.
I asked the staff to book a taxi for me, they asked even higher than the normal price
Excellent location and amazing view
The rooms seems old and uncomfortable
Could not find any negatives
