Playa Palms Beachfront Hotel    

One of the best hotels I've been to! Very friendly and helpfull staff, perfect location and clean rooms.

Location - view - friendly staff - breakfast - the terrasse - relaxation - quietness - awesome - calmness - hammock

The aircon smelled odd - but I asked for cleaning and they fixed it within 1,5 hours - perfect !!

I know this is not the hotels fault but there were young children there that would run around the courtyard/pool area at an early hour and they were really loud!

I liked the layout of the hotel very pretty and the rooms were nice.

The beach smells like fish from all the fishing boats parked on shore! No bar/restaurant.

This was one of the best places we staid. Hotel is very good and location, Onec you are in side you feel like you are in paradise, when you go out you are in party city, so you can get everything that you want from vacation.

We loved the location and it is right on the beach and I particularly liked the hammock that was on our balcony and from the balcony the view was great. (all the rooms have a hammock outside). The gardens inside the hotel were beautiful and we loved the look of the hotel. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

The lounge and chair in the room were not that comfortable. We found that our neighbours were noisy too early each morning, stomping up and down the staircase, slamming their door and talking in the staircase so our sleep was limited by this. The hot water is not hot and shower head not the best either.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and location to the main strip was perfect. We couldn't hear any of the noise once we closed the door.

Really great find! I could see the waves from my room on the first floor. The staff was very helpful especially with anticipating and responding to problems. I had a room reserved on the 3rd floor but the minute they saw my cane they recommended I switch to the first floor with lesser view but greater access. When I saw the stairs I understood why! The hotel is in a fairly quiet location and feels secluded. My room had a full kitchen and a small refrigerator I used extensively to keep water and sodas cold. All around it was a great place to stay.

The stairs to the 2nd and 3rd levels are a tight spiral design. There's hardly room for your feet on the stairs and if you're taller than 5'9" you'll likely hit your head on the stairs above you. There was a strong smell of bug spray in my room but it did clear out by the end of the day.

Loved the design of the hotel! The balconies are awesome, the pool was great, the view amazing. It's a great location for walking to restaurants & shopping. The staff is very nice.

The one thing that we would have liked to have been better was the beach right in front of the hotel. It could have been the weather that caused alot of 'stuff' in the water making it rather unpleasant to get in. But if you walk down the beach a little it gets much better.

Playa Palms was a convenient and picturesque setting right on the beach and only about 100 meters to 5th Avenue, where restaurants, shops and bars abound. The rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly, efficient and made our stay great. We definitely stay there again. Thanks Louis and his team we had a fantastic time.

The Hotel is situated AT the beach. Fantastic location for beach lovers. Beach service (food and drinks) is proved by next door bar right on the beach. Close to the buzzling 5th Ave, where you can find all kind of shops, restaurants and bars

Literalmente hotel "pé na areia", o serviço foi super atencioso com destaque para o funcionário Carlos que nos deu excelentes dicas e nos tratou super bem. O café da manha é servido na varanda do quarto!

La proximité de la plage, le petit-déjeuner pris sur le balcon, être bercé dans un hamac alors que des frégates nous survolaient, la vue sur la mer depuis le balcon, la proximité de playa del Carmen sans avoir les nuisances des boîte de nuit qui "animent" les soirées avec leurs haut-parleurs, pouvoir joindre notre centre de plongée à pied, parking à proximité!
