The hotel was All I needed, location, comfort , was secured, economic & the staff was friendly, my favorite part was the breakfast, delicious coffee, eggs and couple more Mexican dishes, fresh baked bread, fresh fruit , juices and more, everything is from walking distance , the beach is only few blocks away, so many restaurants too my favorite El Fogon & another Venezuelan restaurant where they have Arepas and vegetarian dishes, only couple blocks away from the hotel, I'll recomment this hotel to anyone that likes to go on vacation and explore around, it's not a resort but its comfortable and the location is a plus.
No complaints everything was great, it doesn't have a pool but who needs a pool when you can swim in that beautiful colorful ocean.
Great value for money on location near to 5th avenue and bus station. Although breakfast wasn't included according to booking.com the owner offered it to us. For this price the breakfast and room were great!
No clear window/outside access (for one night it was no problem at all for us, but if you stay longer!)
location is good, 10 mins walk from all the action price was really good breakfast ! clean good service
bed was bad !
Cleanliness, staff positive attitude, comfort, wi-fi..
No swimming pool.
the staff is friendly, the room is clean and comfortable. great value!
a little off 5th ave but a short and safe walk.
- the room was very big and comfortable - very clean - great breakfast!
- the location. its a little far from the 5th av. and it wasn't nice to walk back late at night - only one person at the reception speak english
The Hotel owner and his daughter was very nice people. They were very friendly allways said good morning and hello. I like that the hotel was close to the supermarket. The room was big and very clean, the bed was very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again when I visit Playa Del Carmen.
The location was not the best. It was a little far from 5th ave, the beach and nightlife.
For the price we paid, we shouldn't complain. The breakfast is good by Yucatan standard.
A bit far to walk from ADO bus station (from Cancun airport). Have to take bus or taxi. Sound insulation could be better.
I like that the hotel was clean and spotless. The breakfast was very good and the staff very accommodating.
I didn't like the neighborhood too much. However , it was safe. The beach is a long walk 5/6 blocks east. The beach area was covered in seaweed which made it complicated to really enjoy the beach. Bedding and pillows need to be upgraded. Also add wash clothes and hanging towels to bathrooms.
Is one block from Mega Comercial Mexicana and close to 6 excelent affordable local restaurants. Very recent vonstruction and uses solar energy to heat water and part of it's electricity consumption
The view is not the best if you get the even number rooms, but you do not go to Playa to stay in your room. The corridors need more natural air flow to cool them a bit
Big room Good air conditioning Friendly staff Location is good Free parking of that of the hotel that has a gate Breakfast included
Curtains didn't overlap, so let light in the room and was scared that even that there was a slight gap that people could see me from the building across if I had the lights on in the evening. Didn't like the window that gave way onto corridor, didn't feel that I complete privacy.
Good location for shopping, close to beach and station!! Perfect
Lil bit of noise infrant of the hotel.
The location, friendly reception, free breakfast, free wifi although connectivity is poor and the cute towel handicraft by the housekeeping staff.
The mosquitoes in the hotel lobby area, the external noise that is audible from room & uncomfortable thin pillows.
I stayed at this hotel with my husband for 5 nights. Great price and the staff was excellent. They did everything possible to make our stay awesome. I booked a tour with BESTDAY.com and they up and gave me wrong pick up location so we missed the tour; not to mention it was my husband's birthday (avoid them!!!) In addition I paid $238 (total for two)..way too much money for Delux tour of Chichen Itza. This hotel had it for $55 (per person) for the same exact thing. So I was able to book with my hotel instead. I also liked that Playa plaza accepts credit card/debit cards as payment. So no need to pay with pesos. They are so warm and helpful, staff really did their best to make our stay comfy. One night we had a lot of leftovers from dinner (from Nativo/Great place right around corner from Hotel ) and decided to have it the next day for lunch. When we asked the front desk if they had a microwave, she said yes and had a microwave brought to our room!! I was expecting to utiliz a microwave from the staff lounge. Also the breakfast was not skimpy at all. There was eggs (scrambled), mini empanadas, coffee, juice, milk (chocolate milk) pastries, re-fried beans, fruit, oatmeal and bread. I was very pleased with breakfast and it was all you can eat!!! No limit!! The bed and room was very comfortable and a great size. Also we were given complimentary water bottles everyday. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!!!!
The location was fine and our room was adequate.
Our room was backed up against a loading dock so I didn¨t get good quality sleep. It was noisy all hours of the night.
The wifi in the room- poor signal
This is the second stay for me to stay this hotel. The hotel located closs to famous good restrans and big two supermarkets to walk there for only 2~3 minuets . And more, all of staffs are veri kindness, safety closed free parking, elevator and the rooms have refrigator, air conditionig.
The food market face to the hotel must work very early morning so some big tracks engine sounds is big noize, but not always.
VERY CLEAN ROOMS
cleanliness, friendly and knowledgable staff, big room, safe location, the beach as well as city centre in walking distance,THANKS A LOT FOR REALLY NICE STAY :D
small variety of food at breakfast,
The staff was welcoming, accomodating and helpful. When I didn't want to leave the room, the cleaning lady stopped by to ask if needed anything, which was awesome! The room was clean, comfortable, affordable, and not a far walk from Ado bus station and 5th street! If the price remains the same, I will return!
For what we got, it was a great price. The staff was excellent.
The safe's in both rooms were not working. It was big inconvenience to always go down stairs to get help to open the safe with the key.
Great place to stay. 4 blocks from the beach, easy walking distance but not in Main Street. Small family business so every body is very helpful, warm and greets you each time you pass. Hotel exceptionally clean and always smells fresh. Rooms good size, bathroom very clean and mostly plenty of hot water. Bed soft and comfortable. Wifi in room great except when it went out for a day. Still available in lobby. Breakfast simple but plentiful, eggs, pastries, fresh fruit salad, breads, Mexican dish, juice and coffee, we loved our stay here that we cancelled the next part of our journey and spent another week here doing day trips. Fantastic local food shops near by.
Nothing . Perhaps an umbrella in the room may be helpful when it rains.
Very nice staff, Thelma went out of her way to provide a microwave and coffee maker, the ac was a little weak in our unit so they lent us fans to cool our room, I highly recommend this hotel as the staff is top notch!!!
Weak ac unit
cleanliness and price
breakfast just ok
