The room was nice and the bed was great. Location is perfect.
Nothing is included. No WIFI in the rooms and no breakfast but expensive! Its a typical rib-off hotel. Staff was not friendly and arrogant!
Very nice and clean , staff helpful and friendly . We also enjoyed the food and the canopy over the restaurant .
Church bells ring 24/7 If you provide ear plugs your guests will appreciate it.
Noise No wifi
Location and staff particularly Maria at the Front Desk.Courtyard for breakfast and lunch was beautiful.Just outside the Hotel is the Plaza and the Principal Church.
The location for what I was there for was very good. The Staff is very friendly, and spoke very good english.
Now hot water for two day, and two nites, they acted surprized, and I did not like that at all, and they made no attempt to adjust the bill, The rate I booked, and reserved was 40.00 dollars more when I arrived. The manager has an attitude, and I wont stay there again, and I wont recommend the hotel. Also, the room phones are programmed to only allow you to call out of the country for 5 minutes at a time. Very, Very bad.
Location, spacious room, ample clothing storage and well appointed bathroom
Helpful staff, fluent English at reception; elegant, well-maintained, spotlessly clean colonial building; spacious, very comfortable room. Great location close to the main square. The Booking.com Value Deal made it affordable for us, - but could only get one night at this rate
No wifi in the rooms. We had to make a private SKYPE call and faced doing that in the central courtyard, - not at all private. However reception allowed us to use the banquet room. Big help. Would have liked a small fridge to keep drinks and snacks.
I found the staff to be the most attentive and caring that I have seen. When my wife became ill, they offered help at every turn and went out of their way to accommodate us.
I had to leave my room and sit on the deck to se the WIFI, which was a problem when I needed to do work.
Hotel is excellently located in a quiet street off Jardin Allende. They serve a very inclusive breakfast/luch in a beautiful courtyard.
Given the high room rates, the bathroom toiletries were somewhat primitive; no hair dryer, poor quality soap products, no shower cap etc. Our room's decor was plain enough to be monastic...but not charmingly so!
A bit Noisy room on the street
Excellent location next to Jardin. Beautiful historic building. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Excellent restaurant for breakfast. Rates very reasonable and good value relative to other hotels in San Miguel. The hotel serves the needs of those who want something historic, comfortable and well maintained in a good location, but are not looking for a high level of luxury features.
About half the rooms are in a separate building behind the main building which, although very pleasant, lack the historic charm of the rooms that are in the main historic building. If you are looking for a room in an historic building, request a room in the front, main part of the building. Some people may not like the noise from the bells from the church accross the street from the hotel, although we did not mind them. The bathrooms could use a few more hooks for hanging up clothing, and some of the rooms could use a little more storage area (dressers or shelves) for clothing. The wifi is very weak--you need to be in the hotel lobby to use it (or hanging out of your window if you have a room in that overlooks the inner-courtyard).
Location is little bit noisy
small bedroom, anda payed the same as other friends with bigger rooms
They gave us a room in the back of the hotel. You have to pass through the kitchen door to reach your room in the back, The best rooms are in the front; the staff did not offer us the opportunity to make the choice.
