The people next to us that were loud until midnight
The location was decent. The bed was comfortable.
We paid $70 and overpaid. The sheets on our bed were stained and torn. The towels were large but very worn. The Wi-Fi worked well in the lounge but was very weak in our room. There was a sewerage smell in the bathroom. We did not expect much English to be spoken, and the reception desk staff spoke zero English. This is a poor hotel that should rate around 4 or 5 and should be charging $30 - $35 per night.
The location is right on the sea front and our room overlooked the nice little swimming pool. The room was spacious with a good en suite, plenty of hot water, and the breakfast was perfect.
There was only one sun lounger, otherwise nowhere to sit in the sun other than wooden chairs. There was no bedside table either, so they could do with investing in some more furniture.
leaving the place
Didn't like this hotel, it felt like we were staying in a converted garage. Uncomfortable beds, didn't sleep at all because we didn't feel safe, and lots of bugs and lizards in the room. Dogs barking directly to rear of room. No glass in windows just wire and wooden shutters. Breakfast was poor, and served all at once, so eggs went cold before you had finished your fruit. So say the best hotel in Rio Lagartos, but the area is really poor so as they say in Mexico you can put a tuxedo on a goat but its still a goat...
Great place facing the sea in Rio Lagartos. Clean, friendly, welcoming. Breakfast was great! Thank you.
Location was excellent and facilities were generally clean and well maintained. A hearty breakfast was included, perhaps the best scrambled eggs I've ever tasted :)
Screen doors tended to bang a bit in the wind. Cash only. The nearest ATM is 40 miles away, and very few places in town accept credit cards, so bring cash to cover your spending.
Our room looked out at the ocean, and the beautiful sunrise. They made me coffee early in the morning before breakfast and were very accommodating. The full breakfast was very good, fresh fruit and fruit juice.
Staff was friendly bathrooms clean
Very sparse with furniture and amenities
Clean, very nice courtyard & pool, spacious rooms
Difficulty finding the Posado rather than the Restaurant
Great little hotel. Definitely ask to stay in the front with the view of the harbor.
It was like a little oasis in the back courtyard pool area. Lovely fresh fruit breakfast and juice and coffee. Staff very helpful and accommodating.
We really loved the place. There were three of us and all three of us agreed it was one of the best places we stayed in Mexio
A little bit late with a breakfast. We agreed to have it at 7, but they were not ready. But it was not something affecting our good impression of this hotel
