The food in the beach restaurant was average, sometimes pretty bad but its a bit of an effort to go out and about for breakfast and lunch so you don't have much choice but to go with it. Didn't try the other restaurants as we wet out in the evenings. Cozumel generally seems quite touristy.
The resort beaches & the beach cabanas are great. This part of the island is really nice and quiet and the water is lovely and clear. The whole resort felt very luxurious, without seeming too grand. Im sure it was almost full but there was no crowding anywhere. All mod cons in the room. Very clean and comfortable rooms and resort. Our room was pool side and the cheapest available but we were very happy. (The first poolside room we got was facing a wall so we asked to move!). The adult pool was always quiet, sometimes empty which was perfect for my morning swim. Snorkel equipment was good quality and there is something to see directly off the shore. We arranged snorkeling trip and diving (with another supplier) - the resort was well positioned for easy access to the best spots. Happy hour margarita was massive and nice : )
The housekeeping was not great. The'd forget to leave water, coffee, clean towels; we went through two broken refrigerators; and my quilt was soiled on one end. The first night I changed it around and when they came to clean the next day they switched it back, putting the soiled end toward my face again!! I also didn't like the jet skis out in front of our beach.
The food was very good and the service both in the restaurant and on the beach was excellent. The front desk was always helpful. The beach was always clean.
very beautiful and quiet private beach
what's not to like?
really competent staff across all areas beach was magnificent faciltiies excellent service five star weather good too)
The food at the restaurant was not good and very expensive
The location and the beach fantastic
We loved this resort! The room was large, the bed comfortable, the view of pool pretty, iguanas and pelicans fun to watch, and the snorkeling was fantastic: many, many varieties of colorful fish, large and small, as well as stingrays! And all right along the shoreline at the resort. Use of a straw bag to carry things to the beach a nice touch. Never had a problem getting a cabana. Food was good and with three venues there was enough choice to satisfy us.
Service at restaurants was slow, but staff was great. Menu selection was limited.
Has a great onsite scuba store, with rental equipment, master diver instructors and dive boats.
The gym is tiny, old, run down...old outdated mats and really hot and humid. No service in there at all. The overall hotel could use a facelift. The rooms are nice but smaller from our previous trips to Mexico. Service at the restaurants was mediocre at best. Outdoor furniture in the rooms is plastic and cheap.
The outside property is fantastic. The access to the beach, hotel restaurants and pools was exceptional. Even though the hotel was full, it does not feel that way at the beach or pool. There is plenty of space. Food was very good at the restaurants.
Very old resort in general. They wanted to charge 60 usd for a room service consisting of: 5 toast, jam, 2 juices, 4 banans
Hidden costs Nothing is inclusive Expensive!

The Caribbean restaurant has a gorgeous view but has a lot of mosquitos and beeps and the fans are not enough for ventilation .
The facility, the ocean, the rooms, the staff and the fact that I did snorkel every day without exit the hotel.
I loved the beach bag and beach towels that were there for use with the room. I also enjoyed the shower in the room that was designed outside. I totally enjoyed my stay and will travel to this hotel again.
The outdoor shower hd some slime on the tile and the door leading back into bath would remain open allowing mosquitoes to come in.
Loved the snorkeling off the beach…right side of dive shop, not left. Breakfast was very good (we chose Mexican dishes not the buffet). The suite right off the beach was gorgeous, with a hammock and fresh flowers.
Wi-Fi was spotty, difficult to long into from our room (3204). Could only be logged into 1 device at a time - we had 3 devices we wanted to use.
Room was very comfortable & clean. Great snorkeling and swimming beaches. Enjoyed the beach snack/beverage service. Excellent breakfast buffet.
WiFi didn't work so well on my phone but it worked fine on my daughter's newer iPhone.
Food and all services excellent, great snorkeling, nice beach, beautiful clear water. Was there in late May so had the place almost to ourselves.
Dive shop on site
