Food is greate Wonderfull hotel's resturant on the beach and wonderfull beach too.
Great rooms. Great beech.
Food is excellent. Full board is all value. Had to moved out of original hotel to this one as the other one was really bad. So I wasn't expecting too much. But this one was excellent.
Had to standing in front of reception to book this as they can't seem to make reservation there.
Location is excellent
Rooms are tiny and full of damp. It's more a 3 star than a pretentious 4. Food is average and the staff needs motivating. Could be a great hotel but so far it's just overpriced and dissapointing.
beautiful facility, pool etc
room tiny, ugly, on noisy street
This was our third year in a row at Isla Mujeres. All three years we have stayed at Privilege Aluxes (last year we got married there.) All staff that we have encountered have always been very friendly and the front desk staff are always willing to help you if needed. The food is excellent. We really enjoy Cafe Del Mar, both for the food and atmosphere. Satay is a must to try and the buffet restaurant Sabor has a different theme every night (love the omelet bar in the morning!) If you're looking for a hassle free experience with a clean and modern hotel Privilege Aluxes is for you!
This is the first year we had a few mornings/nights where we didn't have warm water to take showers. ( It must be when most people are taking showers that this occurs.)
The beach and service at cafe del mar
they charge you 50.00 a person if you have friends come over to your room for drink
Rooms were very comfortable, pool and beach areas were nice also Breakfast buffet was lovely - great omelettes!
Food outside of breakfast was very bland and mediocre, though we did not try Satay Staff were a curious mix of friendly and surly, giving an uneven experience..
Perfect location, excellent value, great service and food, best vacation ever!!! ...We will definitely come back
A very clean and well equipped hotel. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Worst experience we had in Mexico. the only plus: a private beach
Worst experience we had in Mexico. 1. we arrived a bit after 15:00 and the room was not ready! we had to wait 1 hour..! and wet bcz of the storm! 2. we had more than 20 little sewer bugs that came out from the bathtub and sink 3. no upgrade and we said we are in our honeymoon. 4. no welcome drinks 5. reception guy (jesus was his name) was extremely NOT nice. 6. We recieved a call at 2AM which woke us up! they did not stop calling! they said our door is open and we should close it and it was closed! 7. Most important: There was a storm on our last night and the whole room was flooded!!!! the windows leaked! all our suitcases got wet! we wrote a letter to the hotel manager (the night manager suggested to write it in handwriting) and 2 weeks after- still waiting for a reply! Worst hotel in Mexico!
Great Pool Bar and Pool
Rooms are very plain and not decorated
Pool bar staff are excellent. The rooms are of a high quality and the location is perfect
Administration of the visit via booking.com and subsequent poor response to our concerns by hotel management. 1) we were a group of 3 who were told on booking.com that the only way 3 people could be accommodated was in 2 rooms. However when we arrived we were told that the suites we were in could fit a third person on an extra bed. However we would be no refund on the second room if we changed to just one room. So this was not the best deal we could have received 2) we were not offered all inclusive as an option when booking however every other guest had this 3) WiFi weak and only available in certAin areas. This is very inconvenient and not typical of a true "5 star" hotel
