I liked the firm mattress. No saggy mattresses here. It was quaint and rustic, very much like what I would assume it looked like in its very early days. There was a huge old avocado tree outside our room. The pool looked inviting but we did not use it, not enough time.

City center is way too far away walking over cobblestones. It is all down hill so the walk back can be hellish. Not for the faint of heart. Wi Fi status was very poor. The road was right behind our room so the traffic was very noisy on the cobblestones. Cabs were the only way to get into the city center. You have to be very careful on the steps and walkways on the grounds as the stone work is very uneven and not well lit at night.

    The building is nice.

The staff do not have a service attitude, the rooms do not have heating or AC, a fireplace with limited amount of wood is no good, mattresses are hard, bottom line, they should charge half of what they do now.

The room was freezing. I had to dress-up fully but still was freezing in my bed. I couldn't sleep a bit. I caught a flu and had a fever. I had been suffering from it for the rest of the trip. I'll never stay there. The hotel overcharged me, too. I have to negotiate now.

The hotel room is clean and shower water is good.

There is no coffee machine in the room and the restaurant close at 10pm. It's very cold in the evening. If you have a baby need hot milk, it is difficult.
