We loved the relaxing atmosphere. We had a garden unit, and it was perfect!
It was a bit strange for us not to be able to flush toilet paper down the toilet!
Staff is great and accomodations are beautiful. Great drinks and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. I would only stay here in Tulum!
The WiFi doesn't always work (or work that well) and the property is fairly far down the road... a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for!
Beautiful setting on the beach with lots of palm trees and hammocks
Rooms and location
Restaurant service was a bit slow.
Beach area although windy
Super slow service, terrible beds, noisy rooms, food just ok but expensive, bad cocktails, far from everything, owner not flexible at all - customer does not come first in this place at all. I really recommend you go somewhere else for the price. Plenty of better choices!
The Beach , the food and the friendly staff
Everything was perfect !
The restaurant service is a little slow
We stayed at 2 hotels a few hundred yards apart due to availability. This was our second of the trip - the room was very large, located above the restaurant, about 3 levels up. Great views and felt very private due to height. Great patio with hammock. It was quite noisy, between restaurant noise, adjacent room (with crying/screaming kids) and the nearby private house playing thumping music at all hours through the night. Not the hotel's fault, but definitely hard to relax. Food was very good, staff spoke English very well. Plenty of beach chairs, beds, hammocks...all very comfortable. They had bikes for rent, but we did not utilize them.
Several items were forgotten or not ready for us when we arrived - we were apparently supposed to get cards to allow us to check out beach towels, but were not given any. They give you a mocktail when you arrive, but those were not ready when we arrived and were brought to us later. Our phones had not synced to the local time, and we were almost an hour late checking out of our room (unknown to us at the time), but the way in which it was handled could have been better - 3 separate people knocked on the door as we were packing, showering, changing asking if we wanted help with bags...no one ever said, "hey you're late" until the third time. It felt like the hotel tries to be upper-class but didn't really nail it, so it felt sloppy in execution, and almost like it was trying to be something its not. I'd prefer a more relaxed, laid back atmosphere, which we had at our previous hotel 2 doors up the beach.
Just about the end of the line before sian Kaan. A bit of a drive (10k) but never tired of it. Good road all the way. Excellant property and staff. A great place to wake up.
Nice place, clean
access road dangerous for walking and extremely dirty
A nice cool room, comfortable bed. Great for sleeping. A terrace overlooking the beach, nice place to sit and read and use the internet, have a drink or a meal. A long uncrowded beach, beautiful water.
Staff were great, loved being right on the beach and not having to walk far to breakfast, to the ocean, etc. Quiet and relaxing.
We really love the place. We have been there last year as well. They builded new rooms which are very big with two doublebeds, although we needed just one
The only thing we missed was a normal wardrobe in the new room. We did not had enough space for our clothes.
The location is everything. This view (the hotel and the surroundings) is something that will never forget. I guess it's almost impossible to find a better package in Tulum, and that includes: hotel, location, surroundings and privacy.
During the night it can be pretty cold. A second blanket it might be very useful. They have A/C i couldn't figure it out how to switch it to heat. For the same reason, a hairdryer it's mandatory in such a sophisticated place.
Location, beach, staff, restaurant, all excellent.
Very sparse room. Bed was poor, linens were damp everyday, no hair dryer, no clock, little place to unpack your clothes. In general the room seemed to like 2.5 stars. Not a four star location as listed. And we had to terminate a cockroach in our room.
The secludedness of the hotel and it's beach. The friendly and helpful staff. A beautiful and peaceful destination.
I love the remoteness of the beach. No Vendors bugging us. No crowds. The the best water and shoreline. Not rocky or Coraly just perfect.
The room always felt damp. Probably just humidity and poor, circulation.
the location is just south of the main "action" area of the beach strip in Tulum. Definitely walkable, but I'd recommend renting a bike. facilities are great, rooms are big and clean. Kitchen is quite good. The bottom line with this hotel: its not as nice as say, Ahau Tulum, which has a better kitchen, nicer layout and more activities. An overall better hotel. The best in Tulum I'd say. BUT what makes this place a winner is the overall value. It is a great hotel, it has all your needs covered, the people that work there are great. the grounds are wonderful and the beach front is lovely. Also, the included breakfast Breakfast is a real plus.
Location on beach Views from room Hammocks! Good food. Parking. Friendly staff.
Breakfast policy a bit stingy. Wifi terrible Inconsistent (sometimes zero) water pressure.
Simple clean rooms. Hammocks outside.
Lovely comfortable rooms right on the beach. Relaxing peaceful and convenient
Wi-fi a bit weak in rooms, a bit understaffed in the restaurant at breakfast
location, staff, food
facilities are run down, seafront units are badly designed
Rooms were great and the beach was beautiful. Comfortable sun loungers with one always free.
This place is expensive ! And they charge you for everything extra. My partner ordered a banana with his pre paid brekkie and we got charged for it. Really expensive bill for a bit of laundry. Everything comes with a service charge.
Loved our stay at the hotel. Great spot in Tulum
Lovely place and staff
Slow wifi and way to far from any restaurant the only opcion is the hotels restaurant
