Very traditional Mexican atmosphere. Enjoyed the guitar and singer entertainment.

Love the hotel - location/ambiance great.

When delivering an order no dirty dishes nor refuse was removed. No wait staff watched over patrons poolside. Some wait staff great but most appeared disinterested/bored. Not a great 'customer service is the key' training noted. Didn't seem busy from the 14th -19th march. Even on the bbq night there was not a good turnout and yet the price 195 pesos per, was obviously too high to bring in even a mildly curious diner. Sometimes specials and reductions will increase attendance.

Location is excellent. Staff was very friendly & tried to be helpful but their English was very limited.

4th floor room requested on high floor when booking hotel months in advance was not available. Room assigned was on 1st floor which was very rustic with no updated features. We were given option of taking a room on 4th floor but not direct ocean front as paid for. Finally agreed on this room & was fine but only partial ocean view.

The location was perfect. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Margaritas were delicious and very reasonably priced. We would definitely return

Early morning noise from the moving of chairs in the lobby under our room and the music often too loud. The breakfast became quite boring. Lighting was insufficient for reading .

Hard, small beds; inclusive breakfast was very very basic (scrambled eggs, refried beans and bread); a bit noisy from the staff in the mornings.

The location is excellent, the rooms are simple and clean, the hotel is full of old world charm. It's not a young crowd that stays there, but you're right on the boardwalk with access to anything you need. Super clean and friendly. I'd go back anytime.

The traditional feel of the hotel, great view of the ocean, access to malecon, laid back atmosphere.

We booked an ocean view room but were given a room looking over the roof. We were changed to an excellent room ocean view room when we pointed out the error. The change was made easily and quickly.

location - beginning of the Malecon Had a problem with plumbing and were given another room right away.

We could have been compensated with a free meal or drink!! Something to show their concern for our comfort.

The hotel and our room was clean and adaquite. The location at the north end of the Malecon was great as far as getting around to a wide variety of things to see and places to eat or dine. The complementary breakfast was adaquate but not gourmet.

Complementary ice meant coming down to the bar and we had to go out and buy a hair dryer for my daughter. Not a big deal as this is budget priced hotel.

Arcitecture of hotel was appealing, bed in 4-S was comfortable, other furniture was excellent, attractive & comfortable shower & bathroom layout, high-quality food in restaurant, friendly staff.

There was no secure place to keep larger items such as a laptop or large camera. A combination safe in each room would be nice.

The staff were friendly and professional, as well as helpful. The location is great for shopping and restaurants, and sight-seeing.

Its closeness to the beach. The sound of the waves. Its personnel, very kind and friendly. Quiet place.

Its rooms are a bit uncomfortable. The bathrooms are a kind of old as well as its furniture. The matresses are hard!

The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff is friendly and the location is fantastic! There is great food, and shopping located right across the road, easy access to get in and out if you're driving, great shopping places and it is located sea side so there is a great view. The breakfast in the morning is iffy but if you take the vouchers they give you the restaurant will deduct their value from your menu order and give you a great deal. All and all I liked it there, if I were staying with friends and going out on the town nightly, that is where I would want to be.

There are some water issues in the rooms, sometimes there is no hot water or the showers don't work that well. The beds are super hard, but that is normal as with most of Mexico. If you like to party this is a great place to stay, the bars can be heard all night until 4-5am very loud and fun sounding but with small children it was difficult to sleep. I paid equal amounts for the rooms but one room always seemed small and dingy and the other huge and beautiful. If you stay, book online or they charge you way more, I had to stay an extra night and really paid for it.

I liked the charm of the hotel. Also the location.

I felt the breakfasts were monotamous andinadequate. Fruit is cheap in Mexico and that would have added a lot. They would put out a breakfast buffet on weekends, but that was not for their guests. We were there 12 days with 2 weekends included, and it would have been a nice gesture on their part to allow their guests to partake of that nicer breakfast buffet on weekends. The pool was unheated so not very inviting to an older person.

Some of the rooms needs a total renovation. No iron, no coffee maker, no hair dryer, no clock, no hand towels, no wash towels.
