Our stay at the royal Solaris was perfect. We actually got upgraded to the GR caribe (connected hotel) which is next door and even Nicer, plus we could use the facilities of both! We didn't even leave the resort because it was so relaxing. Pools and beaches were amazing, drinks all the time and 24hour room service! Perfect place to stay! Loved it for my birthday!
The food was just ok, but it's all inclusive so not really much to complain about. I guess it would have been nice to have free wifi with the price of the hotel, but it's not that important, better to relax anyway.
Wifi very expensive
We had a 15 month old baby boy. He was really enjoyed the food, especially the oat meal and watermelon, even the room service. We loved the white fine sands at the beach. The staffs were kind, active, and willing to help us all the time.
There was s funny story on paying with my credit card. I could not make my payment using my visa credit card even more than 5 times. Finally I could make it by changing the currency to Mexico peso from us dollar!?? The only thing that I was not satisfied with this hotel was this. And this is not about the hotel, but for your information, the wind was quite strong and the water was rough during my stay in October. So we could not go swimming or snorkeling.
animation is marvelous, staff is really kind and friendly beach is gorgeous all rooms have great view either ocean or laguna
yes there are cockroaches food really didn't match to our taste pool is not clean pillows are stiff hotel tries to relocate you to their sister hotel Caribe saying an upgrade will be given but Caribe is worse, make sure you change it to main hotel.
Amazing hotel right on the beach, staff couldn't do enough for you always happy & checking if you needed anything else. Staff constantly cleaning & brushing up, such attention to hygiene. Would recommend this hotel to everyone
I have been to so many hotels but Royal Solaris comes second to none. Friendly staff, cleanliness, entertainment, amazing pools, excellent facilities.
Food lacked variety.
The food was good
I wish the alcohol was better quality.
The staff were very helpful and friendly .
The food was not good with exception of breakfast.
Rooms furniture are old.
Loved the beach! The staff was so professional and friendly. Our room had an amazing view although the wind was whistling thru our door . The rooms do need updating .the shower was hard to navigate without getting water all over w/the half glass wall. The food was ok, it wasn't great. The atmosphere was nice.
The staff at the pool were very accommodating.
Where to start. While stories usually begin from the beginning I have to start in the middle because of how disgusted I was by this particular incident. While using the restroom, an employee wearing a chefs hat came in and urinated in the urinal next to me. When he left the restroom, he did NOT wash his HANDS. I was so appalled I spoke to the manager who's name I forget. She did NOT apologize on his behalf, And only said that she would speak to the staff but she couldn't believe one of the chefs would use the restroom and not wash their hands. Now from the beginning. Our original reservation was at Solaris Royal (adjoining hotel). When we went to check in, we were told we were upgraded to the "better" hotel next store, GR Caribe at no extra charge....hmmmm. Okay. So we go next store to check in to our upgraded hotel only to find out our room has been downgraded. I paid for and upgraded to an ocean view room at the Solaris Royal. The first room they gave us had a tiny window to view the ocean through a palm tree and no balcony. We went downstairs and requested a different room. After much back and forth, they gave us a new room that was larger but had no balcony. The there's the time share pitch. Complete waste of time. 2.5 hours - when they say 90 minutes and they just won't accept that you're not interested. And what did we get in return, two lousy 30 minutes massages. I would have rather paid for the massages and not gone to the presentation. Speaking of massages...we tried to allow a friend staying at another hotel to use of the massages because of our 2 year old the two of us couldn't do a couples massage. When our friend tried to enter the hotel they wouldn't let her unless she paid $100 for a day bracelet. Come on really...we explained she was just going to go massage and leave. She wasn't going to try and drink or eat for free. Still the answer was no unless we paid the $100.
Best hotel we visited so far. 1.Excellent service. 2.Kind and helpful staff. 3. Food delicious, nice restaurants. 4. Beach and pool area perfect. 5. Good animation. 6. Would recommend this hotel to everybody.
They planned a big party for New Eve's with fireworks that was a big plus!
The food & drinks have are so cheap quality. Wine was so bad! Food untasty... even the dinner for New Eve's was bad....
Lots of tasty food at diverse restaurants, Very friendly and helpful personnel, Shops and travel agencies in the hotel
Almost no sound proofing in the rooms, The fruits were not riped enough, Ridiculously expensive Wi-Fi, Strong waves
- Food - Staff's response - Delayed or no reply to room service requests - Lack of english speaking staff members
people there are very nice, thank you for all.
staff, people, food, restaurants, beach area, pool area
Facilities need updating, rooms need updating (except the timeshare rooms!), entertainment was OK, but needs more live singing and variety (dancing was amazing, though!), food was very authentic.. didn't like all of it, but I tried everything! daytime activities were lacking...
