Location mainly. The size of the room and Breakfast. Some guys (staff) were very kindly.

Elevators and temperature of the room (air didn't work in our room). The room needs a painting and it isn't clean. The bed is a shame for a 4 star. In other words, two stars is for the location. Booking.com must urgently reclassified this hotel.

Friendly staff who offers to guard your luggage (we went to taxco for one night and could leave our bags until we came back next day to check in again -free). Excellent location, easy to walk around the zona Rosa with shops and restaurants and to the park. Hotel was good but for only a little bit more you can get a five star hotel like galeria plaza reforme with roof terrace and pool so with that in mind I think the standard could have been a little bit better. The hotel feels a bit "old". But offers kitchenett so have microwave and free wifi that was great!

The bedrooms was nice and big but the bathroom felt a little bit old, and the hotel could really use a touch up if the want to keep calling themselves a four star hotel.. 3 would probably be more honest and realistic as they probably were a four star when it was new but now maybe not so much...

The hotel has a good location, just one block from the angel. The room was large with a kitchen area. The staff were friendly and helpful getting our taxi at 6:00 in the morning. Good value for the price.

Were on the 12th floor and the noise from the elevator motors was disturbing. The noise from the central air conditioning was also loud.

Good space in the room and good size bed, tooth brush in bathroom, shampu and soap. Adecuate bathroom facilities.

I was told I could pay cash when I checked in, but when checking out I was told they did not accept usd in cash, only pesos, it was 5 am saturday and could not change my cash. They insisted in charging to my credit card. No a good experience, I hope they did not charge me twice.

Good location! Fair room for the price.

I asked for a taxi in the front desk the very first day I arrived and it cost me 3 times what one from the street charged me later.

The location is the main plus - not far from subway, anthropology museum, paseo la reforma avenue, main city park and night life of th city

Location. Five peso on the buss will take you to all the big spots.

Crazy elevators

Very perfect location near Obelisk. Unusual for Mexican hotels breakfast: a lot of different dishes, very good kitchen. Good and friendly staff.

The location and the possibility to cook. The hotel is located very near to the Angel, which makes life easier to reach many places in the city and is near to the historical center as well. It is clean and allows you to be fairly independent. I stayed 8 nights and would recommend the hotel. Photos may be a bit overrated.

I do not want to sound alarming and would not be fair to the hotel to give it a negative image, but facts: cleaning could be better, the carpet gets dirty easily and under the bed (dust is a big problem in Mexico), no windows and the air is blown through a central system, which is not always on (in Summer it may be a bot hot, but I am not sure), cooking is ok, but smell from others enters the room, hotel faces a busy road, so it is noisy and there is no escape. Take ear plugs. Ask for top floors to minimize it, lights in the room are dim and make work at night a bit difficult. The hotel is it was duly noise insulated would be excellent. It is far from the metro, but very near to buses which connect you almost everywhere. Price and quality is very fine for the location, but do check other options for comparison.

I stayed in room 104 the room has A lot of traffic noise, it is better to change the widow to double glass window to reduce the noise

the flooring is getting too old & need to be more clean the bath rooms need to have clean small hand towels there should be new slipper for each new guest

The location is fantastic. Just a few steps to one of the most exciting intersections in the world. The rooms are roomy and the sheets are crisp and lovely white. We are coming back, for sure!

We visited Mexico City as a group of family and friends:our ages ranged from 1year to 72 years. We found these apartments to be perfect, encompassing all our different needs excellently. We had read that Mexico City might be dangerous but we encountered only friendliness and generosity throughout our week there. We felt very safe in the area of the hotel and also as we walked the street(s) to the Historic District.

Location is excellent & staff is great, the housekeeper deserved her tip. The room was always super tidy &cleaned. I especially liked the small fridge & coffee maker & microwave, which were handy. Also, wifi was good.

The hotel is quite basic & a bit dated, although clean & tidy. It needs renovation.. The tv set definitle has seen better days & the cable channels were limited...more English channels necessary for me anyway, maybe BBC & CNN. But after alll, I had a pleasant experience at the hotel.

When we arrived we were told that the hotel was full and they had to put us in a room with 2 single beds instead of 1 double bed, even though we had booked about a month in advance. This was not really a problem for us, but the way the personnel treated us was very rude. They didn't offer any apologies or discount, but just told us to take it or leave it. Furthermore, the room was small, extremely hot and the beds were uncomfortable. The next day, we moved to the room we had planned to stay in and it was a lot bigger and less hot, but the beds were still very uncomfortable. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel.

I was quite pleased with our stay. I find the hotel an excellent value.

Well located

The air-conditioning did not work in the bedrooms and unable to open any windows. \Too warm to sleep.

San Marino is a very good located hotel. You can go walking for some of the main important turistic points from Mexico City. It is a clean hotel, and the staff are gentle.

The hotel don´t have a proper parking place, but there is 2 big parkings to stay the car. The breakfast is ok, with no much variaty,

I have now stayed at San Marino Suites three different times. Every stay thus far has been great. No complaints. It's a good deal for the price.

We stayed at San Marino for 3 nights while in the city. The location of the hotel is great. Close to all the major sites and in a good area with lovely restaurants close by The room was cleaned daily and kept very clean. We enjoyed the suite kitchen and making a couple of good meals at home. We got a very good rate on the room as a special. For the special rate we had very good value.

The gym was a bit in need of an upgrade.

I like the enviroment of the room I felt like home. they have excellent services and stuff. I recommend San Marino Suites it is an awsome place!!!!!!!! :) I had good time!!!!!!!!!!
