Beautiful spot, remote, great food
very hard to reach without a 4 wheel drive. Bad road.
Amazing location, it worth all the bumps on the way to get there. The beach is astonishing and this is the best option if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful destination in Quintana Roo. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. We stayed in the beach front bungalow that is amazingly beautiful and right on top of the beach.
It takes around 35km in a road full of bumps to got there, but it's worthy. We rented a small car and we get there but if I return I will definitely rent a 4x4 car. Prepare yourself to pay for a tip of around 15% on the meal, for every meal, as it happens more or less in all the hotels in Riviera Maya.
The position is great and the atmosphere is quite familiar.
The choice of food is really poor; the chef, Maurizio, is able to cook some but very few good dishes but the variety is poor and everything is quite expensive. In a place like this you expect to eat an affordable lobster and not fettuccine with mashroom!
Although completely overpriced, I loved the solitude and the nice little stretch of beach, great for relaxing. Staff is very friendly, good food.
I have travelled across the whole Yucatan, and although it is a nice place, I didn't have a good feeling there, as it was heavily overpriced from room to food to tours. I had the feeling that the owners are trying everything to squeeze more money out of each customer (as there is nowhere for you to go) They even add a heavy tip automatically to your bill... they tell you that you can remove it if you want, but they know you won't. Oh, be aware that the beach is full of trash once you leave the hotel zone...much nicer in Tulum, Holbox etc.
Everything. This place is heaven.
The most relaxing vacation ever. Excellent staff and food.Beautiful beach with no people. We walkded for 1 hour at the beach, did not meet anybody.
The staff and the rooms.
The plastic lining the beach for miles and miles. So Sad. The poor hoteliers try to clean it up every so often but the world's rubbish continues to litter the beach by the ton. It is time that the Biosphere managment organised for keeping the place free of garbage and encouraged the locals to keep Punta Allen clean.
A true paradise. wonderful location, beautiful and specious rooms, the most helpful and friendly staff.
Very bad road to get there. The food is very expensive.
