celkem přijatelná cena, čistota pokojů, vcelku příjemné prostředí pro středně náročné klienty, dobrá dostupnost - na pláž, bus zastávka zaměstnanci zprvu nechtěli akceptovat naši potvrzenou rezervaci, po hádce ustoupili a našli pokoj, který původně nebyl žádný volný, kontinentální snídaně je velmi chudá (káva,džus, mléko, cornflakes, 2ks toust. chleba 1ks sladkého pečiva marmeláda a máslo), za kompletní bufettovou je nutno si doplatit |

Sotavento Hotel & Yacht Club was a very friendly family hotel. It was not far from the beaches and had reasonable access to downtown areas using bus or taxis. We liked the fact that predominently spanish speaking people stayed here. It had a very nice relaxing pool, and served a nice continental breakfast with options for a buffet breakfast.Lunch and dinner was available but we always went downtown to explore.There was a kiosk nearby for basic sundry items. I would have liked to be able to get internet wifi in my room, but had to go to the lobby or resturant. Everything else was good. |

Clean rooms with air conditioning, a nice and reasonably priced restaurant and very good rates for the zona hotelera. The swimming pool is shaded by far too many palm trees and vegetation, to the extent that nearly all sun is blocked out, making sunbathing by the pool virtually impossible. The breakfast, which is included in the price is not that great but the other food in the restaurant was good. |

The rate of the hotel is pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for... We didn't find the hotel very clean; next time i'd rather pay a little more to get something better. |

The details in Booking.com state that Wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel. This is not so, onoly available in Lobby and restaurant. One of the reasons I booked was to be able to work in my room. |

Relaxed atmosphere, everything that was really needed was there. All promises kept. Flimsy curtains that let the sunlight through (cannot sleep a full 8-9 hours after partying); air conditioner very loud so again, if you were out partying you can't sleep in the morning because either 1) the air conditioner is too loud or 2) it's too hot because you've switched it off. Therefore: recommended for people on a quiet vacation, but not for night owls. |

The staff were friendly and the whole hotel was like an oasis with so many trees and plants, the bar was lovely with a big palapa roof and overlooking the pool and yachts on the lagoon. The rooms were clean and well sized, and the shower was great! We had a problem (of my partners causing, not the hotels) and it was fixed immediately with no problems. Breakfast was great. The menu was quite basic in the restaurant, and there are very noisy birds outside first thing in the morning, although this is not the hotels fault obviously!!!!! |

The trees and plants that surrounded the hotel were pretty. The room smelled like sewer, especially in the bathroom. The beds were very umcomfortable. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. The pictures were misleading and the Yacht Club is actually before you get to the hotel. The location was very far from the clubs and shopping and the walk to get to the hotel did not feel safe. |

It was an amazing property, right on the water with super friendly staff. I liked the pool and restaurant area as well. Rooms could get upgraded, there was a strange smell in the room. |

I loved the buffet breakfast (although it was an additional 65 pesos)... the scenery was beautiful, the room was clean, and the staff was beyond wonderful. my room was a little damp |

The price compared to the service, comfort and location was excellent. It was clear that the staff of hotel is trying to develop the quality of hotel. The hotel was near the beach, only 10 min to walk. The bus to downtown and hotel zone, run every 5 minute and cost only 6.5 peso. The development of hotel included construction work in hotel building. It was anoying to wake up at 7:30 at morning with hangower to the noise of construction work. But it will stop when work is done. |

La recepcion es bastante escueta y a la intemperie... nadie te guia hasta la habitacion teniendo que transitar por senderos frondosos que tapan la no iluminada señalizacion... Al entrar a la habitacion recibi un bofetazo ediondo de humedad que fue imposible soportar hasta que el AC logro apasiguarlo... La TV que no estaba enchufada ni a la corriente ni a la señal , y con razon porque se veia pesimamente y el control no era compatible... El "armario" era una jaula de madera donde estaba alojada la caja de seguridad y no tenia ni una percha, se le reclamo al personal pero nunca llegaron las perchas... El baño venia con compañeros de cuarto, unos pequeños y hermosos gecos que rondaban por las paredes. |

Le restaurant était abordable et la nourriture était bonne. Le service du personnel. Nous avons demandé un "wake-up call" à 3h15 du matin afin de se rendre à l'aéroport et le préposé à la réception dormait sur sa chaise!!! Il ne nous a jamais réveillé à temps!!! |
