Overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Nichupte Lagoon, only steps from the beach, the Krystal Grand Punta Cancún has a bi-level outdoor pool, private white sandy beach and full-service spa.
Score from 526 reviews Very good
Featuring an outdoor pool, Real Inn Cancún by Camino Real is in Cancún, just over half a mile from the beach and 2 miles from Plaza Caracol shopping center.
Score from 54 reviews Wonderful
Set right on the beachfront, this resort offers outdoor pools and tennis courts. Rooms and suites offer free Wi-Fi and views of the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon.
Score from 479 reviews Very good
This resort is on the ocean and across from the Cancun Convention Center. It features a sauna, hot tub, an oceanfront pool, while rooms include a minibar and cable TV.
Score from 580 reviews Good
Direcly on the beach. Crystal clear, blue water. We got a free upgrade to a room with jacuzzi. Design style.
Long check in and out procedures. You have to open an account and all consumption in the restaurant goes to that, no chance to pay cash. After check out you can't consume anything as you have to pay at checkout. Most expensive hotel on our trip but definitely not the best one.
The view, comfortable bed, awesome infinity pool facing ocean
The water from toilet shower flow out into the room, make the room outside the toilet wet. wifi is very unstable in our room that we can't connect during the entire stay except lobby
Good sea facing view
Room service, was really bad. we ordered 3 times, each time they were missing courses from the menu or served a wrong order...the room service team are not able to speak any English, although that they answering - yes, I understood. really bad service, by check out we had to argue about cancelling an order that we cancelled. Internet connection, very poor.
The hotel is really beautiful, we stayed in an ocean view room and it's such a joy waking up every morning. Loved their infinity pool as well, it's a small pool but the view is awesome. The hotel location is a bit far away from downtown but you can get around by bus, the good thing is there are fewer tourists.
It would be great if they have wifi in hotel rooms as well.
Clean large rooms situated very conveniently to airport ...good pool area...good for a couple of days
Paid a significantly reduced figure for the rooms...believe to be fair...not worth the full price
Location is out of the busy tourist area and the beach is less crowded.
Rooms and bathrooms are very basic and not worth the price. Food is terrible and service is poor. You have limited choices outside, so you pay too much for poor quality food.
1. The day that i left
1. Location - far from the centre of Zona Hoteliera and boats to Isla Mujeres. There are no bus stations around. 2. No hot water in the evening, only a bit mild. 3. Showet faucet had no powet and water was just drizzling. 4. Food was bad. The pizza from room service was nothing resembling like a pizza. 5. Minibar doesnt cool the drinks inside, the coke and the beer were hot!! 6. Wifi was weak and discontinuous. 7. Staff was not profesional smiley but without any intention to help and do something about the problems. 8. The place was way too expensive 200usd per night!!!
Room was ok
Very windy, old, bad sushi
Really close to sea, Cancun-bus stops at the hotel which takes you everywhere 24/7. The ocean view suite with yakuzzi was big and comfortable. Was way more enjoyable than the entire hotel.
Really small hotel with NO activities or anything within the building. If you didn't book a big suite you won't enjoy any second spent inside so rather book a full-day tour for every day. But then there is the question: why would you book here at all? For the price i paid, one can book a big fancy hotel at Playa del Carmen (in advance!) which really worth the money.
Unlimited beach towels, efficient room make-up, friendly beach waiters, quiet location away from everything, 24 hour convenient store located across the blvd
Over all the hotel needs a refurbishment especially the beds and pillows, wifi is extremely patchy, paid wifi offered but was not available, overall food selection and quality
Infinity pool. Far away enough from the mad area on the hotel strip. Had a 60% discount so this was an ok stay. But I have to say if I hadn't this would have been way overpriced. However, free coffee and bakeries for breakfast.
Likes to think it is up there, but service doesn't quite make it. Staff young and inexperienced. Little things, like no-one minds the free morning tee buffet, so it will dirty up and run out of cups. Internet flakey.
Good service on checking in. They did not have a front desk area which was kinda wierd. The beds were good and the room was nicely put together. The pool area overlooking the ocean was great and the bar service there excellent. Breakfast was the only meal I enjoyed.
The presentation and decor of the whole place was quite void of furniture and everything was looking quite worn. I didn't enjoy the food I ate other than breakfast. The satellite tv didn't work properly and I got one channel in english to watch that wasn't pixelated.
Infinity pool, great room
Terrible Wi-Fi not available in room. All of the hotels in the area are all inclusive so you'll end up eating the ordinary and expensive food. Cocktails were cheap but not good
Staff nice and friendly.
Very noisy. Rooms facing the lobby with music loud till midnight. Restaurants with poor quality food.
Our room was gorgeous. Chambermaid service excellent. Excellent check in experience. The beach kept very clean.
The restaurant is awful. Service is poor. Food is mediocre. Coffee is gross. Water is $4. US per bottle. Pool is broken. They add water to it everyday so it remains to cold to swim. The ocean is warm but often the surf is too high and Dangerous to swim
the pool, location generally clean
wifi never reached my room, so i had to go downstairs to use it. restaurant staff not friendly. wouldn't den spare some bread when i ordered room service.
Room, staff, clean, nice food, good prices,
music at night
The infinity pool.
Staff were excellent and the room was great
Could almost pick up wifi in the rooms but dropped in and out.
The hotel looks very bad. Pictures showing up for bookings lie We ran away after one day Recommend not to get this hotel Not worth even $ 70 per night
Beach, pool Internet works fairly well
Air conditioned not working Keys not working Dishonest staff There are no restaurants/pubs/clubs/shops in the area Building needs renovation
The beach is beautiful. The wait and bar staff very helpful. The front desk staff for the most part helpful. Good wifi. Champagne hour is great.
Loud at night with a wedding party the first night and I'm not sure what else the rest of the stay. One particularly rude English front desk employee, reaturaunts are so so. They claim to have 3 but there's really one and a lobby. Inconsistent. For the first 3 nights our room had no wash cloths or hand towels and the last night they appeared. Can't imagine doing an all inclusive here after staying at the Rui but you pay for what you get I guess.
The ocean view The breakfast buffet
Architecture designed by Narcos If you like red and purple lighting with walls covered with aluminum foiled
Being smaller than the mega-resorts closer to the shopping district I felt the Bel-Air offers a much more boutique experience. As a couple without children it was such a delight that there were no screaming children and the other guests were all respectful with everyone respecting each others space. The resort not being All-inclusive isn't a problem as the restaurants, pool bar and mini-bar are all priced reasonably.
It's quite a distance to the shopping precinct and the ATM at the resort was constantly broken so we kept running out of cash which is probably saying more about our ability to budget but as Aussies we're unused to tipping and kept forgetting to save enough for tips for tour guides etc.
