-Old furniture in the room -No bar or self-vending machines opened at night: after midnight we were not able to buy a bottle of water inside the hotel. Never seen in an international hotel -Rude staff: reception staff dis-activate our room key at 11.00 sharp, even if we asked half an hour more to bring luggage down. Our room remained blocked for next 45 minutes.
Family had a great time at The Royal Caribbean 8/2 - 8/9. Plenty of things to do and see in the area. Location great for tours and going out at night. Plenty of things to do on-site also. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Has to be a faster way to check in. Always have a long wait to check in.

No shampoo or bath foam
we booked a suite for the 28 of July,2014. The kitchen is fully equipped with cups, plates, dishes, dish washer, coffee maker, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, and all utensils. The pool is big enough so that all guests have their part to have fun. I did an outdoor spa which was good but I would enjoy it more if it were indoor since it was in the mid-noon and very hot. The concierge guy, Antonio, did an excellent job! Really enjoyed our stay. Already recommed it to more families and would recommend it to friends as well.
The rooms and facilities were excellent. You need a car to get around as it is out of the way. Beaches are beautiful as are the pools.
Taco night buffet at $20 per person was overpriced and would not recommend. Quality of food was poor. Staff the only exception.
This resort is why I continue to return. It is a pleasure to stay at R.C. or any of the Royal resorts

The room was an excellent stay for six. It is the perfect blend of furniture and convenience. The ocean view was spectacular while the pool was large and inviting. We ate sea food pasta from Trade Winds restaurant inside the Hotel and it was tasty. The servers and in general the staff were courteous. Highly recommend this location on Cancun strip.
We did not receive the daily room service. Our sheets and towels were not changed.
Wonderful beach, location and facilities. Activities were good and included pottery, yoga, beach volleyball. Activity staff was very energetic and fun. Most activities were free or very inexpensive. Trips were well organized. Buses were readily available

It need room service food wise. And it need it bigger sign for locations. We got lost the first time.
It was exactly as depicted on the website. We had a wonderful view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Full cooking facilities. Onsite agency to book all activities: scuba, Xel-ha, Mayan ruin tours. Very nice pool and pool and beach bars. Decent market. Onsite self service laundry facilities with attendants, so you can leave your stuff in the washer, then come back to transfer to dryer, then come back to pick up. Easy access to public transit. Courteous staff. There were 7 of us in our party. 2 adults, and 5 kids, ages 16-21. We had two bedrooms, two baths. The master had a king sized bed, the second bedroom had two doubles. The living room had 2, twin sized Murphy beds...not very comfortable, but worked well. There is a good sized safe in the room. Large enough for camera bag, purse, laptop etc. Housekeeping service was very good. Beach is beautiful! Would stay at Royal Caribbean again!
Check in was slow, but thorough. We are in such a hurry in the US and put a lot of value on fast service. Their culture is different, and they don't put as much emphasis on fast service, but they were very courteous. Just be patient. Have someone get you a cocktail from the bar while you stand in line to check in. It's a timeshare, so they do try to get you to attend their "sales pitch" but they didn't hassle us when we politely declined. You have to open a line of credit with them, which at first was a hassle, but actually turned out ok since we used the account to charge all our activities with the onsite travel agency (Thomas Moore), so it wasn't a problem. If you plan to use US $$ on your visit, recommend bringing smaller demoninations, $1s, $5, $10s, as you can only get $20s in the ATM, and no one will give you change in US $$ except at the airport. So if you want to tip someone $5, and only have $20s, you're in a jam. Just a suggestion.

The staff was extremely nice and accomodating. Enjoyed the activities at set times (e.g. volleyball at 3pm). Would have liked to play more, starting earlier.

We checked out at 12, but staff allowed us to keep towels and hang out outside for a couple of hours. So we had a lunch outside at the area between the room and a pool. Then manager Ismael came and said that we cannot occupy this area and charged us $100. I think it was a plan - let us stay then charge and split it with the guy who allowed us to stay (Abuid).

Cost with getting back to the airport from the hotel. had I known, or understood that it required 48 hours to arrange a shuttle ride back to the airport, I would have purchaased the round-trip shuttle when offered upon my arrival at the airport. Imade the assumption that i could arrange shuttle service back to the airport from the hotel. I only stayed 24 hours, so I was not able to meet the 48 hour requirement. Thank you.
I really enjoyed the vacation at Royal Caribbean. Very clean and comfort for everybody. Just one hundred feet away from the ocean and great food in hotel restaurant. Happy hour on the ocean bar 3:00pm to 5:00 at half price all drinks, I love it.
Proximity to the beach.
We were only there for 5 days and at book in we were informed that we could only stay in that room for 2 nights and then be moved to another room for the other 2 nights because the owners were coming to stay. No cash allowed!! All transactions had to be charged to the room or your credit card. No shuttles to shopping or airport, however they had connecting shuttles to all of their sister resorts. The attitude of the members/owners was intolerable & rude towards paying vacationers. I will never never go back nor should you ever go!!! You were held captive their as it was too expensive to go any place else thus enabling them the sole fleecing of your pocket book.
Staff was very friendly and helpful . Location was beautiful. Very clean resort. Food at restaurants was delicious .
Our suite was the one below one that was being repaired and there was noise all day and debry falling on our terrace so we could not sit outside and enjoy the view.
