Beach and food
No champu and no coffee
Rude staff. Not bothered to help There is nothing at all in the fridge . No water to drink in THE whole hotel after 11 pm ( you cant drink tap water Mexico) Staff in reception reassured me there was no way to find water . In the end I had to take a taxi for 200 pesos to go to a supermarket and buy mineral water Cleaners did Storm into the room twice despite me saying that we were busy My gf and myself were literally naked in bed . They ignored our shouts and still came in . There is no " do not disturb" Room was not cleaned when requested Room were left dirty by cleaners Staff keep a very rude and uncaring attitude from the beginning till the end of our stay
Friendly staff - very helpful and polite. The view of the beach and pool area from a standard room on top floor. Central Location to the hotel Zone Access to ALL the other Royal Resorts and their facilities (bar Royal Hacienda) via Free shuttle service. Thomas Moore Travel desk within hotel – helpful staff to arrange all your excursions around Cancun. Royal Caribbean supermarket within hotel.
Great value for money, beautiful views, nice pools, the restaurant was pretty good.
I loved it all especially the free shuttle that takes you to the other Royal hotels to visit! Easy access to bus stops to take you to town !
That we had to leave to our time share for a week!!
Friendly staff, great food, service and facilities. Ease of access to all amenities and other attractions in the area.
The location was convenient for us as we were heading to the airport The suite was large and allowed self catering
The suite had a very unpleasant smell. We were only there one day so it didn't really matter but if we had been staying longer it would have been a problem
We were able to spend a memorable 24 hours in Cancun thanks to a layover on our flight home. Great staff and facilities!
The shuttle service to and from the Sands where the spa is located was a bit of a hassle but no big deal--we took taxis.
Must rooms seem to have a good view of the sea. They have a few nice activities for children, painting etc. And nice ones for adults, like small sailing boats
Check in at 4 pm, considering it gets dark at 6pm. Check out at 11 am, means they need 5 hours to clean the rooms. Also if you havent checked out by 1130, they automatically charge you 100 box. No water drinking water in the room, seamed a bit tight from them. Its a shame that because of the size of the building, if you are on the beach after around 330 pm the hotel covers the sun, so you are on the shade (that happens to must on the Zona Hotelera), too high buildings!!
definitely great value for the price, the food in the Mexican restaurant is so delicious, i regretted of eating outside.
a bit far from the center, but very convenient and cheap bus, so access is not hard
Unable to pay with American Express restaurant and other hotel services People attending the counter not so kind
Our suite was the most luxurious place we'd ever stayed in. The bed was so comfy, ample beds available and relaxing decor throughout. There was also a blender in the kitchen-perfect for cocktail making!
That other hotel residents were not abiding the reserving of sun loungers rule.-despite it being mentioned several times in the welcome pack. This meant there were very few loungers available. We also didn't think much of the takeaway pizza and garlic bread.
Excellent swimming beach. Beautiful view of the ocean. Suite with balcony, mini fridge, microwave and dishes. Well stocked market & laundry on site. Pools, restaurants & activities.
There was an odor in the bathroom.
Staff always helpful, service excellent, very clean.
Everything!! Location, clean, friendly staff, food. Comfort beds. Large rooms. ...
The rooms that have a view to the beach are great. The beach in front of the resort is beautiful and you have bar/restaurant service available at the beach.
This resort works Saturday-Saturday which means you must check-out on Saturday and there's a chance you'll have to change rooms. Even if you don't your key will automatically stop working at 11am on Saturday. I had never stayed at a place with this type of arrangement. I wouldn't do it again. It is highly impractical and uncomfortable as you end up losing at least an hour of your holiday just waiting for the Bellboy to change rooms. The hotel is a bit of a labyrinth and it takes a bit to get used to the room distribution.
We stayed for 2 nights after travelling through Mexico for 7 weeks. Our room was spacious, the supermarket was well stocked and not expensive, the restaurants (Caye Lago and Conquistador were both superb). We loved the huge pool for early morning lap swimming, and it was an added bonus to be able to get our hair cut at the beauty salon at the Royal Carribbean adjoining our hotel. All staff were helpful and friendly, without being pushy. Views over the pool and ocean from every room
The room was spacious, view was beautiful. We had a wonderful dinner at el Conquistador
The stay was fine for one night - the resort was done for us. Restaurants other than a fine dining steak house were like a strip mall in the states; not special. Prices were a little high. Demographic was about 50 years older than we are.
Nothing to write home about!
Everything! What an utter let-down. Confusing booking process, poorly maintained ageing ghost-resort, not a hotel as it was sold by Booking.com, un-friendly and brash staff, tastelessly designed rooms, expensive and terrible food in each of the 5 restaurants.. !!! The worst holiday experience we ever had. Avoid it by all means.
The accomodation was lovely: we had a suite with a large terrace which was accessible from both the BR and the LR. We enjoyed the ocean view from there. There was also a lagoon view from the small kitchen window on the other side of the suite. It was nicely furnished and the kitchen was well-equipped. A hotel shuttle linked the various Royal properties in the area and guests could use their facilities. The concierge was very helpful in orienting us to these options. Local transit buses were frequent and inexpensive but it was a bit of a walk from the hotel to the Main Street. Most staff were attentive to guest needs and provided excellent service.
Because of hotel location and the fact we didn't have our own car, grocery purchases were pretty much limited to the Royal Market which had limited selection (although perfectly adequate for our short stay) and as one might expect in a resort, was higher priced than local grocery stores. On site restaurants (we tried 2 of 3) were adequate. The food was good. Restaurants tended to be noisy and felt more American than Mexican.
Good position, best shower we have experienced on our travels, friendly staff apart from one occasion
Asked for late check out and the very rude lady on reception quoted $300 US per hour
only the coast..
the hotel i did not like and i have staying in many hotels, this hotel is big yes but so what,it does'NOT deserve, those prices,at list without breakfast.and the humitedy is so much Special at the left side as you looking of the sea side.NOT AGAIN....
Excellent even though we stayed for only one night it was an amazing way to end our vacation. We will definitely be back again but for longer the next time. Beautiful!
The food was great at the bar near the pool !!
