    The staff were fantastic, we faced an unfortunate incident but the management and staff handled it perfectly, i wouldn't stay anywhere other then st regis punta mita on my next visit, both my husband and i were very happy

    The Taxi's in general were super expensive, a ride from the hotel to punta mita town is literally 5 minutes and the charge was $10 each time, and if you would like to go for dinner then its best to use a taxi, it is very dark to walk. i would recommend a hotel shuttle or transport to town since it is less then 5 minute drive.

    The room was comfortable and the service was good.

    Our arrival was disastrous, we had booked a luxury garden view suite, but were shown to an ordinary room. When we questioned this we were lied to and treated like idiots. When I went to reception with the confirmation of our room grade , I was told that were not permitted to sell rooms of that grade. Then I was told if I wanted the correct room ,I would have to pay 300 dollars a day extra, and that I should contact to tell them of their error. After an hour of argument and more lies from the receptionist, we were eventually give the correct room with no extra charge. This reception ruined our stay at the hotel
