It was perfect. I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. It was very quite there

The staff here were amazing! Anything you asked for (box breakfast to go since we would be heading out on a tour before they had breakfast set up, taxi ordered for the next morning), they were happy to do. They even left notes for the person working the front desk the next morning so that everyone working would be aware of guests' requests.

The setting was wonderful, the laid back feeling was great. The place was not too crowded so we felt there was plenty of space around us. Loved having our own terrace with hammocks etc. We also liked the environmentally friendly efforts the place had made.

Bring mosquito repellent! Once the sun goes down they go on the attack. Also, be aware that pretty much everything - including the restaurant and reception - close at 8pm so if you have any questions etc. after that time, you will have to wait until the next morning.

l'endroit de localisation

C'est un peu dispendieux, pour cette catégorie d'hotel. La toilette ecologique..... Quelques moustiques, il faut dire que nous sommes en pleine végétation. Menu du déjeuner restreint.

Holbox, den skønne ø nord for Yucatan halvøen, Mexico, er det absolut mest afslappede man kan tænke sig. Ingen stress, kun sol, drinks og dejlig mad.... Billigt!

Las habitaciones son muy precarias, tienen poca luminosidad, las camas son muy chicas, la baños son ecológicos, no condice el precio con lo que ofrece, es carísimo

Vi gillade väldigt mycket de bungalows på Villas Delfines, de är rymliga, det är vackert, bekvämt, det finns en liten kylskåp i rummet som var helt tyst, sängen och sängkläderna var toppen, vi sov riktig gott då det var helt tyst på nätterna. Stranden är jätte fin, bara 10 min avstånd från ett stort urval av bra restauranger och butiker. Mysigt stämning överallt, miljövänligt, väl städat på de flesta platser. Terrassen utanför rummet (med ett litet bord, två stolar och 2 hängmatta) var skönt att ha., och bra för att hänga handduken på kvällen.

Det stora besvikelse var restaurangen, det är skönt att det finns en plats för att beställa mat, om så behövs (vi kom sent och var hungriga första kvällen) dock var matten inte bra, det sämsta vi har fått under 2 veckor på Mexico. När vi beställde en "Tuna Tartar" fick vi istället cirka 50 gr tonfisk från en konserv burk, rena katastrof och rätt så dyrt (i förhållande till vad vi betalade på andra platser). Frukost var si och så, ingen katastrof men inte så bra heller. Vi hade en lunch och en middag på plats, det var fullt tillräckligt. Tack och lov finns många andra finare, bättre restauranger där matten var en njutning.

El lugar y lo agradble del hotel

Everything! The bungalows are very nice and spacious, the garden is really georgeous, the beach is amazing, the choice of music in the restaurant is really good and invites to relax even more (classic, 80s, jazz,...) The staff is super friendly. The distance to the village is perfekt to walk (10-15 min), especially the walk back at night under the stars is amazing!

The breakfast was good, but should include eggs. There was a problem on the beach with bad smell right in front of the hotel. We didn´t figure out where the bad smell was coming from, but the wind was blowing all day from the land to the sea. (Perhaps from the ecological toilets of the hotel or one of its neighbors?) We walked 100 m up the beach and there was no bad smell any more.

Buen hotel, el personal muy amable y las instalaciones son cómodas. Realmente cuidan los recursos naturales y el medio ambiente. El spa es maravilloso.

Fui en invierno, entonces el ventilador es suficiente para dormir bien, pero en verano creo que sí debe ser muy caluroso en la noche...

La tranquilidad del lugar

Que nos hayan enganado, pues desde un principio llegamos diciendo que tendriamos que cancelar la ultima noche, debido a que el aeropuerto de Cancun esta demaciado lejos y perderiamos nuestro vuelo de regreso, al avisar desde el primer dia, era para que no se hiciera el cargo de la ultima noche a la tarjeta, nos dijeron que ya se habia efectuado el cobro, pero que no abria problema en que nos reembolsaran la ultima noche, y no fue asi, estuvimos solamente dos noches y nos cobraron 3 a pesar de que se cancelo con 3 dias de anticipacion. Me siento defraudado. Todo lo bueno que tuvo el hotel, con este detalle, se borro todo lo bueno. No deberian de poner en sus politicas de cancelacion que no haran cobro si se avisa con tiempo, porque de cualquier manera ustedes lo cobran, a pesar de no haber dado el servicio. Lo cargaron a mi tarjeta.

Muy buen hotel, las cabañas fuera de lo común. La playa excelente.

Silent, not too crowded, relaxing, friendly and helpful staff, close to the town

The bungalows are typical Mexican design and comfy and away from the noise of the center.

It's way too expensive for the service and the beach area is not well furnished or taking care of.

Het hotel ligt aan een mooi stuk strand van Holbox. Heerlijk rustig. Daarnaast heeft het hotel de transfer Holbox - Cancun erg goed geregeld.

Vergeet niet om je deet mee te nemen en goed te smeren savonds! Dat vergeten is vragen om problemen. Voor de rest geen tegenvallers behalve een schorpioen in de klamboe, maar daar kan het hotel verder niet veel aan doen!

The cabanas were very lovely, wooden style, seashell showers. Dry toilets vere very clean and did not smell bad. Green yard with lots of iguanas was wonderful.

In the yard there was a nice pool but it has not been cleaned for a very long time! So sad.

The place of the cabanas is wonderful! We looked at the beach and ocean. Two hammocks on the deck. Also a little fridge in the cabana and a tea/coffeemaker. The ecotoilet is perfect, really! Lunch and dinner at the restaurant are good.

Breakfast is very simple. Only yoghurt (no cereal), only fruit and white bread. (With cheese or ham) No eggs, bacon, milk or other additional food. Very bad is that they charge your creditcard a week before arrival! And in our case (we borrowed a creditcard to make reservations) we could not pay in cash!!! Big disadvantage!

Expensive for what we got, linen clean but stained

Absolutely loved the view of the ocean, hearing the waves every night as I fell asleep and the pleasant distance to walk along the ocean into town. Lovely experience. The staff went above and beyond! Thank you!
