The staff was awesome and the rooms were very cute. The cook cut up cantaloupe and mango so I could feed the iguanas, which happily came over for the treat. It was off the beaten path so it was so quiet and peaceful. Food was good in the restaurant.

We upgraded for an air conditioned room, but because the roof was so tall and there were holes for the air to escape, we never really could get the room cool. And it was a million degrees outside, which made sleeping that night a little clammy

The location, and the concept, yet it has some challenges.

Too ecological that it lands on uncomfort/healthiness in some points, f.e. the toilet in the rooms. The price is a high considering the level of facilities it offers, compared to others "poshier" options around the same block.

One of the nicest locations on the island, amidst attractive, well-maintained gardens. Excellent swimming beach directly in front of shaded, spacious lounge area. Lovely pool. Bungalows offered quiet setting, privacy. Staff was very welcoming, helpful and eager to please. Maya Hands massage was first class, in a perfect spa setting. Complimentary breakfast of ripe tropical fruit, toast, yogurt, juice and coffee was ideal for us. Nice place!

There wasn't a coffee maker in the room, as advertised, but coffee was readily available at breakfast.

The staff is good, we can do anything on the reception( call a cab, book a tour, etc.) It's a nice place to calm down and have a good rest. The garden is beautiful.

The breakfast is quite enogh. If we need some eggs or something more we have to pay for it. The laundry a little bit expensive.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for on Isla Holbox. I wanted a beach front cabana that was a little rustic yet offering modern comforts. It was perfect. The staff here was awesome. Can't say enough good words about their service. Grounds were so beautiful. Great location and quiet. This is a green hotel with solar water heating and composting toilets. Two thumbs up for being "green."

THE BEDS!!! They were horrible. They were so hard it was like sleeping on a cement floor. I could barely sleep and woke up very stiff and sore when I did sleep. Even a pillow top mattress pad would help. They did have mosquito netting which you need(if bugs bother you, go to a high rise in Cancun). It would also be nice if they offered a full breakfast that you could order off the menu, even if you paid for it. If they fix the bed problem, this place would be top notch.
